My aunt is elderly and disabled. She was considering redoing her entire bath to remove the tub and add a walk-in shower. We're talking thousands for someone who is on a fixed income. This transfer bench is exactly what she needed. I surprised her with it. I crouched on it and jumped up and down, rocked it back and forth, and threw my body weight down on it. My durability test made her laugh. I then made her try it out (dressed of course) while I was there to assist. All is well. She did tell me later that water got out b/c she didn't do the curtain right. She has corrected that and just a little water now. Thank you for keeping my aunt safe and independent a little longer.

Excellent for caregiving

I see to the care of my husband. It’s so easy just to help him sit and move into the bathtub without fear of falling. I highly recommend it.

Very stable, love it!

60 yo female. Needed this due to foot surgery, I'm unable to stand in shower or get in & out of tub. Very stable & easy to put together. Love that the back is removable & can reverse directions. I had it set up to face the faucets which I like best but had to switch it around after surgery so I could prop my leg outside the tub to prevent my cast from getting wet. When the cast is removed I'll switch it back. I have a jacuzzi tub with textured bottom so suction cups don't work but that doesn't matter, its still very stable and I feel very safe. Great that its adjustable for tub height & so much better and safer than a shower chair for transferring from knee scooter to shower bench. Tuck the shower curtain a bit under your butt & you won't get the floor wet. Great buy!

Sturdy

I broke my femur and was having a terrible time trying to take a shower. This bench has made it so much easier! It’s sturdy and easy to put together!

Excellent quality!

This bench is excellent! Sturdy and well-made. It worked perfectly during mom’s illness. Once you place it, the thing doesn’t move! I wish all suction cups worked that well. And they were easy to get unstuck. I would like to shake the hand of the person who designed them!

Transfer bench

Still getting used to it. No bathtub, just a double shower. Can't shower as often as I prefer, but that's no fault of the chair

Cannot be returned!!

This bench is easy to assemble and sturdy, BUT too big for my tub. The tub is curved at the bottom, so the legs of the stool cannot sit firmly any close to the side than 5 inches. Thus the outside part sticks out from tub 5 inches, right in front of the toilet. Can’t believe they will not let me return it!
