Perfect for fine motor skills
This toy is sturdy and would make it through several kids before it’s worn down. Great motor and cognitive skills. Bright colors, smooth wood and paint, no splinters or ways to pinch small fingers.

Very versatile toy!
My 2-year-old grandson and his 9 month old sister love this toy! He found it very easy to fit in each shape into its hole, he likes to roll it around, and his baby sister just loves to handle each shape. I like how the shapes are color-coded to match the specific place to put them. It's also very easy for the toddler to take out the plastic insert and dump out the shapes or pick them out himself. They play with it every day for a long time, and we've had it for about a month now.

My 16 month really enjoys this toy as she likes the sounds and is even able to sort a few of the shapes. That said, she is also teething and likes to put things in her mouth. After playing with this last night, I noticed she had a bit of blue flecks around her mouth and around the collar of her pajamas. The paint around her mouth came off with a warm wash cloth; however, later when I noticed the paint on the blue star was chipped, I was quite disappointed. It's rated for children one year and up and many children this age are still teething and putting things in their mouths. I'll have to shelve this toy in favor of a plastic one until she's a bit older or only allow her to play with it when I can also play, which is a shame because she really likes it.

Cute, educational toy!
It is a little advanced for my one year old grandson, but he loves it because of the bright colors and the holder rolls! This toy will probably keep him entertained longer because as he gets older, there are more intricate activities to do with it!

Grandbaby really likes it...
This was a Xmas gift, and our little grandson really enjoys it (even at 7 months old!) I am sure it will continue to be a favorite as it is a high quality toy and will become even more fun as he grows and can figure the shape sorter thing out. Right now it is all about shaking it and studying the blocks inside.

Absolutely amazing
We bought this toy before baby was born and lo absolutely loves this toy, you can use it in many ways, rolling back and forward, putting the shapes inside the top hole then where they are supposed to go, they can match and learn colors. I will absolutely buy it again.

I disliked the top not being able to come off to put shapes back in, I would have preferred one that did come off. If a child is of age and able to identify shapes this probably would be a gift fit. Every child’s learning is different. Shapes can be used to trace as a learning technique.

Classic toy! Love the wood, might have to wait until baby is old enought to not put things in mouth.
Gonna wait till baby knows not to mouth everything just because of the paint that's on the shapes. Looking forward to them learning their shapes and figuring out the puzzle.

The shapes are poorly made. You can see the bandsaw cuts through the very thin layer of paint. Had to return this.
