Very convenient with unusual bonus security feaature LOL

Love this lock. Easy to install and works great - once we understood that the unlock and lock buttons are flip-flopped. The unlock button is the one that locks it, and the lock button opens. LOL We figure it's kind of a bonus security feature. Even so, it works fine and we're all happy with it

Simple to install

If you live somewhere that it rains this is not good to have outside. Water go into mine and it did not work any more. I think when it dried it started to click open and close (lock and unlock) I had to take the batteries out. I can't use the key pad any more. This is just a large key pad for show. I am glad they have given you a key to use.

Working Fine

I much rather have this KEY PAD ENTRY SYSTEM vs. an actual KEY to gain entry into my house especially since we have multiple people coming and going (Nanny, extended family that visits, dog walker)...this is a great alternative to making and issuing keys to everyone. PLUS, I can change the CODE at anytime. TIP FOR USE: Tap your pass code in Slowly and evenly. Don't rush it or it will reject the entry. I have had this for about 6 - 8 months and no issues.

HORRIBLE "customer support"

The issue: The front keypad panel has a 9 pin wiring harness, the battery/brain rear panel has a 7 pin wiring harness. I contacted the support number in the packaging and left a voice message, as they hadn't picked up the phone during 'support hours' for 5 consecutive hourly calls. The second day I proceeded with 4 more calls, spread every 2 hours and on the final attempt left another message begging them to call back. The third day I did the exact same thing. The fourth day (a Friday) I got someone live on the phone! Yay, right?! So the guy sounded less than impressed and didn't say anything when I mentioned all the calling - after a moment of awkward silence, I asked what can be done. We were told a brand new matching set would be sent to us - just awesome. The guy confirmed the address and email I had given and swore UPS would send the replacements quickly. This was nearly a month ago. I have tried in vein to call back, but nobody ever picks up. I happened to be in the manufacturers area on vacation and stopped by where there was nobody as well. I HIGHLY recommend staying away from this company if this is going to be common 'customer service'. On a side note: the electronic lock and the solo-entry handle both have a different shade of finish, so I can only attest to the lack of product quality there, unfortunately.

Only worked for 4 days

I used this lock to replace my previous lock that was similar. It is easy to install and It worked great for the first four days and then it stopped letting you use the code to lock and unlock it.

Excellent product that I would not hesitate to reorder. Love reducing my pocket keys inventory.
