Amazing

The day I put these bulbs in out front porch it got rid of all the moths. We NEVER see them anymore. We couldn't belive it!

Not worth buying--a piece of junk--after using them several months this is my decision

I am using this bulb in one of two sockets in a dual light fixture in my carport. I recently ordered two more so I can put one of these in the other socket in the carport. The other one I plan to use in the light fixture at my front door. Wish it gave off enough light, but with the dual fixture, two bulbs are better than one. I hope the one going in the single fixture at my front door will be sufficient. My bulb does NOT attract bugs the way other yellow bug lights do because of their heat. Hope they last a long time. Update in Mar 2014: The above was written several months ago. I have now replaced both the bulbs with other No-bug (yellow) lights that give off more light. I really like the Sylvania 60 watt energy saver no bug light that I bought at the grocery store. I now use it at the front door, and it gives off 2 1/2 to 3 times more light than this little thing did. I wish Amazon sold that bulb instead of this one. I bought the last one the grocery had. Maybe they will restock it. I replaced the one in the dual fixture in the carport with a second flood light bulb that is yellow. These bulbs did not really keep the bugs away. At night, I would see the bugs flying around the bulb, and some were lit on or near it. The bugs did not seem to be avoiding it because it was yellow. I only bought two of these because I had had such tremendous success with most other items bought from Amazon, so I thought this would be a great product, too. I should have given more weight to the product evals by other buyers. These useless bulbs are now sitting on the shelf, as I don't have a need for them. They are a piece of junk. Also, Amazon sends those requests to evaluate the product the week after it is received. I think Amazon should wait at least 1 to 2 months to ask for an eval on a product. When the eval arrives via e-mail, I have hardly gotten to use something as getting it installed, put-together, etc. takes time--when you are doing other things, too. I really did not have time to have thoroughly evaluated the product when I wrote the above eval.
