Beautiful shoes but, sadly, not for my feet

After months of dealing wit Achilles Tendinitis, I saw that the Mizuno Wave Rider had a 12 mm heel to toe drop which is supposed to benefit people with tendon issues. Alas, they were comfortable the first day I tried them on and them became very uncomfortable and exacerbated my ankle issues so I had to return them. A friend with foot issues swears by Mizuno which is why I tried them in the first place. They are great shoes so give them a try but in my case, I am still searching for shoes that feel good and are lower on the heel...

Seller Issue

I love the wave rider. I've been wearing them for years. I am disappointed with this purchase. The shoes appear to have been worn already. They arrived in a strange package without any tags or inserts and there is mud on the bottom of one of the shoes. I'm keeping them because they were on sale for $89 when I bought them and now they are back up to $112. I know the shoe will be fine, but I'm disappointed that it wasn't made clear that these were used when I purchased them.

Size Up For Best Fit

I got the blue color. Love the look of this shoe on and the color isn't too much like so many of the styles these days.. I read reviews and sized up a full size from my regular sneaker size . I wear a 6 B in dress shoes, a 6.5 in Skechers slip ons, a 7 in Brooks and took a 7.5 in these. The shoe fits very well. Roomy toe box and heel fits secure. Foot bed is very comfortable with arch well supported. Foot stays aligned and secure in shoe. All in all I am very happy with the shoe and glad I tried it. My first pair from this brand and probably won't be my last.

My favorite running shoe

I love these shoes. They're durable and comfortable. In fact, I don't even need to break them in. I know that won't be the case for everyone, but I could put on a new pair and go for a run with no problems. I have high arches and these shoes are perfect for me.

This particular shoe is a little small.

I got the Mizuno Women's Wave Rider 25 Running Shoe in Cayenne-phlox Pink. I like the color. I have several pairs of this shoe in this size because I like how it fits my feet and I do a lot of walking for exercise. This particular shoe is smaller than others.

If it ain’t broke- don’t fix it!

Love! Love! The Mizuno Wave Rider 25! Not only is it the perfect walking shoe but it comes in a low key solid black that you can wear with anything. I think Mizuno has phased out having a solid black shoe in the Wave Rider 26. I feel this is a BIG mistake. They also redesigned the Wave Rider so it suits the gait of a runner now better than a walker. Perhaps they don’t want the walking market anymore but I’ll bet it’s bigger than they might think.

Great shoe

I have 5 pairs of Mizuno’s. I have feet issues and wear orthotics. They fit perfectly. I take out the inner soles and replace them with my orthotics. My podiatrist says they are perfect for me. I’m not a runner but walk a lot and do a lot of gym work. Elliptical, rowing etc.

Salomon México, la calidad.

Lastimosamente la calidad de SALOMON MÉXICO muy pésima, en comparación a la de USA, la suela muy ligera como de foam, y la talla viene muy reducida o muy grande, pedí unos 22.5 _(talla mexicana) y me quedaron apretadisimos, pedí unos 23 y me quedaron nadando . no entiendo sus tallas. no lo recomiendo.

Where's the cushioning gone?

I have loved and worn Mizuno shoes for years; shoe after shoe and never had a blister or aching legs. With this shoe, on my first outing (same socks etc.) I got a huge heal blister, the shoe felt quite tight (same size as all my other shoes) and after only two days of wearing them my legs are aching. My feet feel every strike, when I change back to my old Mizuno's I feel like I'm floating on a cloud in comparison. Now, $180 poorer I'm looking to buy another pair. Really disappointed in this shoe.
