They are more oval than round
We haven’t hung our towel rings yet but I wanted to write a review anyway. The towel rings are very sturdy but they are actually are more oval than round. Imagine more of a football shape than a basketball. We are still really excited though.

Sylish, solid and easy to install.
The ring sits about 3 1/2 inches away from the wall in case that is important to you. This product is quite sturdy and easy to install. However, our instructions contained an error about the direction of the holes which are horizontal not vertical. I chose this design to match the finish on all the bath accessories and the design of the sink faucets

Mounting screws oriented horizontally, not vertically
I thought this was a very attractive towel ring, but I returned it because the mounting screws were oriented horizontally rather than vertically. That is significant (for me) because for continued stability of the towel ring I wanted to screw the mounting bracket into a stud behind the drywall rather than use anchors that would go into drywall. Anchoring something into drywall is OK if the item on the anchor stays put, but with a towel ring, there would be frequent gentle pulling and tugging that I think would cause the anchors to eventually loosen over time. With the screws horizontal, you could put one of the screws into a stud, but the second screw would most likely have to be in a drywall anchor. I returned this item and found a towel ring that had a mounting bracket with vertical orientation of the screws.

Takes some getting used to, but I like it
I've always had towel bars or regular coat hook-style hooks for towels in bathrooms. I've never had this kind where you actually had to go to the effort (!) to loop a towel through a ring. But it's an open ring, and it's easier, and I've also used it a lot as a regular hook (ie, hanging the towel on the open end of the ring). I usually have one towel looped through it, and another hanging off the free end. It's pretty, functional and matches the other Moen Eva fixtures in my bathroom. It's easier and more convenient than a towel bar. Now that I've gotten used to a "ring style" towel holder, I really like it (although I'm not sure I'd like a "full, closed ring" style). Brushed nickel color is a tad bronze-ier than I anticipated (I anticipated more of a stainless hue), but it works. I have it on the wall next to the shower - very convenient. One caveat: don't put it so close to the shower door that it interferes with door movement. I was going to put this closer, and my contractor pointed out that it'd get in the way (this is why I have to use contractors).

Nice Looking but Poorly Implemented
I purchased three of these for my restrooms. They look very nice and function well for a time; however, I have had two of the three now essentially fall apart. One fell apart after about two years of light use and another just did right at the three year mark. There is some sort of plastic that gets worn down where the towel holder attaches to the wall mount portion. Once it gets worn enough it pops off every time you go to dry your hands. On the plus side, Moen does have a limited lifetime warranty so they have already replaced the one that broke and I just submitted the latest one for replacement under warranty.
