De luchtreiniger Molekule Air Mini+ is door de FDA goedgekeurd voor medisch gebruik om virussen en bacteriën te vernietigen. The app is a nightmare to deal with
Product works great but the app is a nightmare. This is my second one and this time around I got the air mini +. I have tried multiple times to connect the filter to the app on my phone. It does not work, it disconnects, and at this moment the app will just not let me try to reconnect. I paid extra for the plus. I first bought the air mini and had no problems with the app before. Now with the new air mini + I cannot connect to either filter. Again they both work great but they made me pay extra for WiFi capabilities. No absolutely not. I’m returning this. Not worth the hassle.

Killing viruses and Taking Names
It took a perfect storm of events to make me spring for the Air Mini+. I’m spending far too much time indoors. Concerns over CoVid19. Moldy odors in my living room. Allergies to bushes that grow outside my bedroom. Oh, and I’ve got two big hairy GSD dogs that love to go in and out of the house bringing in all manner of dust. So I finally decided to buy this. It arrived in two days. It’s very nicely packed in a specially fitted box with a beautiful one page set of directions on brown Kraft paper plus another booklet (that I didn’t read) and it’s own drawstring bag. Within a few minutes I had twisted off the top, taken out the plastic wrapped filter, put the filter back in, twisted the top back on and had it plugged in; it came right on. I downloaded the app, entered my wifi password and the app immediately recognized the device. Took maybe all of ten minutes tops from box opening to registering on the app. So does it work? Well I thought it would be weeks. I just had it running while I sat watching tv. It was like 3 feet away. Within 2 hours I could tell the air I was breathing in was so fresh and clean. Like wow! It works and super fast too. I think even my dogs liked it as they usually lay in different areas of the house but they both napped within 2 feet of it. The app and physical device design are both well thought out. For the app, I can easily turn it on, off, adjust fan level, or see if the particulate matter is good or bad. If you don’t already have your phone in your hand, like when would that ever happen? You can also just touch the center of the grey circular part of the purifier to do this which is cool but is not intuitive (seriously, at first, I was looking for an on button to push, LOL). I guess I could’ve read the directions. The handle/strap is a nifty way to take it from room to room. It doesn’t weigh that much. I also like the ingenious cord wrap on the bottom so I can uncoil a longer length or recoil it to shorten to reach the outlet with a just right amount of cord. On auto-protect, the fan is a quiet white-noise level. I was watching tv and it did not impact my hearing of Voldemort’s hissing whispers. If you turn the fan up to level 4 or 5 it does make more noise but why would I need that? Maybe for when I cook those campfire smoky meals. If you couldn’t tell already, I’m overall impressed and happy with this purchase. There are less expensive air purifiers out there but this is the only one I saw that killed viruses. Take that CoVid19. Everyone needs one of these.

recommend, just a little loud
I did a bunch of research on air purifiers and settled on this one. I was looking for one that would destroy mold particles in the air and purify the toxins from a new building space once we move. The first Molekule we received was broken. I had to call and troubleshoot and was super disappointed that something soooo expensive was broken upon arrival. I sent it back and got a replacement, and was very happy the new one worked! I’ve had it for a week and can tell a difference in my room. My kids love keeping an eye on the color coded sensor for particles in the air and I can say that we are are breathing better. The only cons are what others have said: 1) the off gassing smells terrible for the first 24 hours and 2) the noise on level 4 and 5 really does sound like an airplane taking off! All other levels are good though. Oh and I love the look!!

Best Air Purifier
Purchased this Air Purifier because it is FDA approved for killing viruses, but really found it to be so much more than just that. The automated monitoring of air quality and speed adjustment to compensate means you can just turn on the device and not think about it. If you are looking for white noise maker, just turn this on high and it does a great job at that. Finally, the 6 month filter is easy to replace and the app tells you when it’s time to do so. No more carbon vs HEPA replacements to track on different cycles, this is a once every 6 month single filter change.

the extra features are just not there
The app seems unreliable. The method used to connect to the molekule feels like kludge where you connect to your molekule's network which then makes your phone's internet unusable during the setup and it doesn't even work for me. I had to do the "manual" process of connecting my mini+ to my phone and then the mini+ wouldn't connect to my wifi saying that the internet is disconnected, but that's not true because I'm using it on my laptop right next to it. The more I look online, the more I see complaints about their app. I think the unit itself is probably pretty nice but just get the base model mini and save yourself the hassle of dealing with their app. My opinion may change depending on what happens when I contact them about this but as it stands now, I feel pretty disappointed. Will likely end up returning this mini+ and either get the regular mini or go with a different company all together

Worth The Money
I really don’t understand all the recent one stars. It did take a minute to connect to my phone and to the WiFi, but I think it’s because my WiFi sucks. Once I got it set up it was a breeze. Noticeable improvement in my allergies indoors when it’s running. I’m able to adjust the fan speeds from the app and I signed up for auto refills. However, the refills are every 6 months so we’ll see if it’s sooner and if ordering is easy. Will be buying more for work and other rooms.

Spent 4 hours trying to pair it with the app
Spent 4 hours trying to pair Air Mini+ with the app but for some reason it just won't connect. Stuck on wi-fi details password screen forever. It shows up in my router device list. But the app just won't connect. Lame!

Bad product
I have tried the product, the plus model is doesn't do anything extra, sensor provided is always faulty, connecting through app takes 100 times, even after that, it will get disconnected
