Comfortable for light duty!

I need steel toes when visiting job sites, so not every day and not for extended periods of standing or walking. These are great for my needs. They look like Vans, are easy to get in and out of, and are much lighter than boots. I don't know if I'd wear these for actual work on a site where you'd want ankle protection, though. They're not super padded on the footbed, and I don't think they'd accommodate inserts because my feet are pretty thin from sole to the top of the foot, and these fit juuuust right. So for site walks and meetings these have me covered and were affordable.

wide feet

i ordered a half size up and in wide hoping they would be wide enough. i have wide feet but not crazy wide. i wear vans and converse and most shoes in regular they are just comfier in wide but these weren’t wide enough with the steel toe. cute tho! and super lightweight!

Easy to break in, comfy for those 12 hour shifts, but are not true to size, i wear a 7.5, I bought 7.5 but they are about .5 to big.

Just Ok

This is a nice shoe but not the best if you are on your feet all day. We require a safety toe at work but these tend to leave marks if I wear them too much. They are not comfortable if you walk a lot. They are slim and don't look like safety toe shoes which is nice but will definitely look for a more comfortable pair in the future.

Zappos!

I have heard great things about Zappos customer service, but I had not experienced it until recently. I bought these shoes from Amazon - didn't realize it was thru Zappos. I wrote a review on the shoes because I only wore them twice and they were sooooo painful, I couldn't wear them again. I wasn't expecting anything, and I wasn't even trying to be mean - I just wanted to warn others - they were to cheap shoes. After writing the review, Zappos contacted me with an apology and asked me to return for a refund! I didn't think I could return, because I wore them twice. Anyway, I did return them and I just want to thank Zappos for being such a fabulous company! I will buy shoes from Zappos anytime!!!

The shoe look nice, feels nice, and seems like it would be a comfortable shoe. It doesn’t look like a steel toe at all. I need to refund or exchange them for a bigger size. The shoe did feels oddly narrow so choose wide, I don’t have a wide foot either.
