If you like a pattern to not fit at all but this

I made the vest in a size 14, exactly as the pattern described. All pieces fit together as expect but the item is 4 inches smaller in the torso than the measurements provided… I will have to draft a new pattern based off of this one… but it’s going to be a pain…. Better than starting from scratch but if you make this for yourself. Make the size that is 2 sizes bigger than your normal size as the written sizes won’t work

The worst pattern I ever bought

I have been sewing for forty years and have never come across such a poorly designed pattern. None of the pieces fit together and I finally gave up, threw my cut material and the pattern in the trash! As a whole, I have found every New Look pattern lacking. The ones I have been able to use have had to be re-cut or altered in some way. You get what you pay for. New Look patterns are not just inexpensive but downright cheap. Buyer beware!

Not as easy as I expected!

Bought for a GCSE project. Finished garment looked good, but some of the instructions were confusing, and occasionally I had to do what I thought because I couldn't work them out. It was advertised as 'easy', but it wasn't as simple to make as I would have expected. I have lots of experience, but it wasn't an easy pattern for my daughter to follow. Good pattern, but probably not the best starter pattern.

Easy to use pattern

Easy to use pattern - !! careful how you cut the pattern if you want to use it again for a different size or style !!- then fold the paper pattern to the correct size/pattern choice - don't cut through it with the fabric! I have now used this pattern 4 times already...works very well. BUT measure front and back of your client - don't just take the 'overall' size....as If the lady has small back width but large bust size...then the shaping will not fit well. I used stretch fabric with a snake skin effect - for a Line-dance team!

Waistcoats are cool. Unless you have a buttonholer for your machine. Don't bother.

Fällt sehr klein aus

An sich ist das Produkt super, aber hier steht bis Gr. 44 es ist aber nur bis deutsche 42 und selbst das ist eine winzige 42 mit einer max. Taille von 76 cm. Bis auf die Sache mit der Größe ist aber alles top.
