This Ninestars trash can is way better than the older model. Works well and easy to clean.

the lid mechanism has been re modeled for the better

This is the second one of these we have owned over 5 years. i had to do a redesign of the hinge for the lids in order to keep it working. finally the cover for the battery fell of and was thrown away. the trash can is nice looking and generally worked well. his new unit has a totally redesigned hing, that should last for a reasonable time. if not my response will be different. here is no reason that the consumer should have to redesign any product! we shall see. i may come back with updates in a year.

Value good and design well done!

Discovered the value of fully charged batteries. Worth a trip to purchase new, fully amped batteries before giving up on this can. It operates beautifully with the new juice. Love the slim and sleek design. Quiet and consistent thus far. Noted same unit at my car dealership during oil change this am … :)

Big dent on the back, thankfully not the front. Too much hassle to return because it is so big.

Bag is harder to change than older model.

We bought this one to replace the older model we had. The sound that it makes when opening is louder and the bag is slightly harder to change because the plastic ring doesn't have little hole to help tuck and keep the top of the bag in place. Minor inconvenience for what it does. Still recommend.

Very happy and excellent product.

I never thought I'd be so happy to buy an expensive trash can. Perfect for kitchen, the bag hanger is great and the bag don't fall down to the bottom, the height is great, the bag fully fits in it and there is left over space on the bottom and I love the fact that you don't have anything to do to lift the cover other than show your presence to it. I with I had bought this before, highly recommended and fast shipping.

Working great so far !!

So far it’s been good, I’ve heard overtime the sensor does stop working but let’s hope it doesn’t and its a quick fix with a battery replacement.

Works really well for the cost!

Motion detection works almost to well sometimes which is a good thing, easy to take the bag out and hides the bag so it looks super clean all the time.
