Nifty night light to carry

I'm always looking for useful, "novel" and practical items...And this Nite Ize Moonlit mini light is a nifty "night light" that comes in handy when you need light in dark places. I attached mine to my fanny pack. It's small enough to attach to your key chain, backpack, or with a small cord, dangle in your car interior, your tent, etc. It is not a bright light that lights up a room; it's a mini light that will give you enough light to look around in dark places. Only reason I took off one star is because sometimes I have to press the button two or three times to turn on the little light. (Maybe mine is defective?? But it still works, so I'll keep it.) Price point was reasonable. A great xmas stocking stuffer!

Great little tent lights

Bought two of these for my backpacking tent. It has to be pretty dark out for them to provide much light inside, but it depends on what you’re using them for. If it’s a large tent (like one you can stand up in), then these will not be enough light. If it’s a backpacking tent, then get these. If you want to use them just for enough light to see your stuff inside, you can space a few of them in different corners of the tent. If you want to use them for reading, it has to be really dark out and I would recommend putting two of them together on the same loop at top of tent. What’s nice is you can angle them towards your book etc. so far so good on these little guys.

Perfect addition to camping gear

Clip it on your jacket for looking at stuff at night. It was just bright enough without blinding you. And then hang it in the tent. Perfect light.

Arrived Dirty

Product arrived with scuff marks/dirt on the light side. Not super bright but I can see things around me with lights off. Unsure if I will use it for upcoming backpacking trip or not. Wish it was a little brighter and clean.

Perfect for camping.

I use to hang from ridge line of backpacking hammock system. Works perfectly at night for reading or sorting out gear under tarp. Same battery still going from another one after one year. Love it and have given some to other hammockers instead of them using a bulkier Lantern type light. Saves on headlamp battery usage too.

It will not blind you!

I camp and every light I use it much to bright for the tent or inside my van. This really is actually like moon lite.. Its perfect. It adjusts, its light , I can see everything well but not have everyone for miles around see me.' My favorite camping light for sure.

Great solo nightlight

Ace little light, perfect for a small tent light. Adjustable angles, robust design and no bigger than needed and just what I wanted. Probably wouldn't work very well for a couple playing cards at night or for reading, but more than enough light to find the zips and your stuff in the dark without lighting your tent up like a beacon. Battery will last for ages, but I've taped a spare to the back of it so I can find a replacement when it needs one.

Purchased as a lightweight option for a tent. If you are looking to cut weight for either camping or hiking this little light is perfect. Enough illumination to light the tent without being too bright, you can swivel and move it around to get the correct angle and only has three functions, on, strobe and off, if you need more buy a headlamp. My only worry is losing it as it's tiny compared to most other options on the market. My only criticism is the way it was squashed though the letterbox on delivery, but was undamaged and at least it was secure.

Great little light

Was looking for a small light for in pram when walking on dark evenings. This is perfect, bright enough to light up inside the pram and able to angle so not shining in baby’s face.

One arrived switched on, battery nearly dead.

As above. Usually these are good products. No need to return, but shouldn't have to replace the battery upon arrival. Difficult to get an answer as this doesn't appear to be an option.
