Fit snugly and absorb very well!

These filters fit in snugly and do not create a noise when the HVAC system turns on and they absorb odors very well!

Carbon Filter should be wrapped in plastic

Carbon Filters are great to reduce odors. Nordic should definitely individually wrap each filter in plastic to prevent the carbon from absorbing odors before the filter is put into use. Carbon can only absorb so much before it will no longer absorb. Nordic ships their filters in a cardboard box that is not airtight so the carbon on the filter is less beneficial for removing household odors when the consumer opens the box to use install the filter.

Pretty good

Last previous review tend to point out a drop in the quality. I hesitated before buying those filters but I needed MERV13+ filters as I'm currently in a region exposed to smoke due to wildfire. The filters came into their own nordic pure box (sorry I haven't took any picture) and also there was no sign that it's in fact lower grade MERV: nothing special was written on the filter and the construction looks similar to the MERV 13 20x25 that I found at home depot. I have a air quality sensor inside my house and it's clearly showing a

Quality filter really does make a difference on air quality

I ordered these because I have asthma and my family (including new baby) seem to have allergies. Our old filters were of the cheap variety and we seemed to be sneezing and coughing more than usual. I installed these throughout our vents and threw out the old ones. With-in a few days (after running fan and heat) the house environment was noticeably cleaner. I'll pass along some wisdom a doctor allergist gave me. In the battle against allergies it is not ONE thing that will alleviate symptoms but many things you do that add up. For me, this has been very true. I also take allergy meds (like many of us) but found doing things like this, vacuuming and dusting frequently, and many other things all add up and help me breathe much freer than before. Hope this helps!

Wonderful Filter, Great Packaging Option and Phenomenal Price.

I have a small vent. They never have this size at my local hardware store. I had to buy the 14X30 and try to cut it to place. My AC Tech recommended Nordic Pure and I saw that they are being sold at Amazon. My Tech gave me a filter and I really liked it. You cannot imagine my pleasant surprise when I found that I could buy a 6-pack here! I am beyond happy! I am as happy with Amazon, and I am with the filter. MERV 12 is great. Specially since we have cats in the house. I would normally pay $16 each, plus tax...the price I paid for the SIX is a great bargain. A little more than $9 each, out the door!!!

Great price and love having extra on hand!

I've been using the 3M filters purchased from wherever I could find them. The 14 x 14 size is not always available. $16+ EACH or higher at the big box stores. I saw some reviewers say they didn't fit properly. They weren't as snug in the opening as the 3M and had to hold them in place while I shut the vent, but they were within the frame of the duct. I have allergies to grass, mold, and smoke and replace my filters every 3 months. I'm happy to have found a cost effective option to higher MERV rated filters!

Can't beat the price of these filters! Especially if you have a weird size return like I do. 14x14x1 is really not a common size for return air ducts.

Finally!

I finally found this product on Amazon.ca, after looking online off and on for about a year, at all the stores that should have carried it. I was totally frustrated. Then with Amazon.ca.....it was their immediately, ordered and we had it. Wonderful!
