Quality craftsmanship

After multiple failed knobs that were significantly cheaper, I bought this one. It was expensive, but well worth it. The knob is not held on with screws so it seems unlikely it is going to fall off, which is the problem I kept having with the $30 knob. It feels great in in my hand and is very sturdy.

As pictured

This knob is exactly as pictured. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that the latch that goes inside the door is gold. I wish it matched the knob color

Exceeded Expectations

Stunning. Not often that doorknobs draw attention in a great way, but these do. I liked then ao much I ordered a coordinating switchplate cover. Installation was no problem, but then again I'm good. Damn good.

Awesome Victorian style doorknob set

I purchased one of these just to see how hefty it was before committing to a whole housefull of them. I was very impressed with the quality of this item. The plate itself is quite thick/heavy and really adds a lot to the visual dimension of the door. We are building a new house in a Victorian/Queen Anne style and wanted something that added to the overall interior design to give it the vintage feel. Even our contractor was impressed with this product, and he is generally very picky/opinionated about such things. Our doors are stained dark mahogany and the bright brass really stands out. There are a variety of plate styles and knobs as well but we eventually went with this style for all the doors in the house. If you can afford it, I would recommend this product.

One Item right, One item wrong.

I ordered two of these. The pieces themselves are really nice but for some reason they sent me a 2 3/4's backset in one and a 2 3/8's in the other. I order two 2 3/8's. I just had somebody come and install the doors and the knobs and now I have one that won't work and I am pretty disappointed. Can't find a way to contact the seller and get the correct backset. For the price I paid for these, I expected better.

A must for vintage doors!

Fantastic product. Very well made. The brass is heavy and well made. My only con is that the adjustment nuts on the knob have sharp edges so you need to file them down a little. Otherwise a great product for this price!
