Hard to use

I works, but you have to use a lot of force to make good seal. The rubber part may be too hard. Possibly good for longevity, but hard to use.

Good test plug

I use these to seal 3" pvc tubes. They cover a wide range of diameters and seal completely without a ton of effort. The red color is very noticeable and that's what you want. The metal hardware is very good quality and the body and o-ring are very durable. The only other thing you would want is a reasonable price and it is.

Good quality easy to use. More than one use.........

Like certain others....I use this product to help store lengths of chain in the cross tubing on the Front End Loader of my tractor. It makes a good storage space and the pipe 'caps' keep everything securely in place until needed.

Plugs the hole but still gets a little smelly

Have this on my bathroom that’s under reno. Still gets smelly in there over time but far less intense than it was before. Good for what I needed

Well made and seals well.

I opened the cap of my basement cleanout to find that it was missing the plug that is supposed to be there to seal it. Instead, someone had stuffed a large amount of plastic sheeting down it instead - not a good solution. Popped this into the cleanout, turned the large oversized wing nut easily by hand to tighten down and now I feel way more confident that sewer gasses aren't going to be leaking out. It's a simple little thing, but it's made well and I expect it to last forever.

machinist trick

when turning pipe in a CNC lathe, you don't want coolant flowing out the end of your pipe so we stick these test plugs on the end and they hold the coolant in the machine.
