Item is not quite as described- hollow stand, not solid.

This item isn't exactly as was described. The top half is not bad, but the bottom stand is cheap, flimsy, hollow plastic-like material. Before I bought the item, I asked the question of what was the stand like- was it solid like wood, or hollow like plastic? Someone responded first ( I believe it to be the seller) saying it was made of resin like the top. Now, that didn't actually answer my question (and now I know why). Two other people responded that it totally solid. So I bought it. When I received it, it turned out to be a hollow, plastic-like cube that the head was on. NOT WHAT HAD BEEN DESCRIBED TO ME. It's much cheaper and flimsy than I been made to believe. As I said, the top is okay, but the cube it stands on is garbage. And it's got some sort of big, scraped mark on the back of it to boot. I wouldn't purchase this exact item from this seller again.

High - End quality

For this price, I expected a nice piece to put in a corner of my entry table. It is SO beautiful and well-made with a beautiful deep natural patina, it is now the centerpiece. The black matte stand adds a very classic touch. Not cheap looking at all. I could see this for much, much more in many designer stores. I can't believe this great piece. I smile every time I pass it. Highly recommend!

this is a handsome reproduction well worth the price. the face captures the peace and serenity of the buddha. i use it to focus on during sitting.

SMALL PICTURE IS NOT AN ACCURATE REPRESENATION

Very cute! But--Very small. Much smaller then the picture indicates. If you are looking for nice decor to spice up your living room/dining room I would suggest purchasing TWO of these, and putting them on either end of a table or room. Again, picture is not a good representation of the actual product!!! They sell large buddah heads at Burlington Coat Factory: a HUGE one probably 10 pds half my size for $30.00 I think! So I would try and get this like product elsewhere before purchasing this...

Very pleased

In my travels through the Southeast Asia it is not permitted to take images of the Buddha so this little knockoff is a nice inexpensive way of having such a piece. I keep this with my books. Fits perfect on bookshelves. Lightweight and great detail. Looks like a solid had carved piece of wood.

An original soon to be a classic

The block pedestal adds to the charm and "authenticity" of this Buddah Head. I would have wished for a little bit more rustic look, but this suits me just fine.

Bought this for my desk and it looks great! Not to big, not too small. Has good weight and doesn't feel too cheap.
