Good for adults too

I'm an adult but bought this powerful toothbrush because it is far superior to the highly touted Oral B 1000 series which lacked the battery power and grip that the children's version has. The new Oral B series adult brushes being sold are subpar to this one. I highly prefer this toothbrush over the adult version.

Everything I wanted and expected.

It's Oral-B! If it makes me sad, I will tell you all the bad. Love. God bless. I saved fifteen dollars buying this 'childs' brush. Bought Coarser bristled heads, real Oral-b, 10pk @ 3.00 per. I push harder because the light tells me when to relent. worth it.

The toothbrush will die

I worked for P&G so I have been a loyal customer of Oral B toothbrushes for a long time. However, just so other parents are aware these toothbrushes seem to last 2-3yrs before you have to replace them. This equates to ~$1.50-2.00 a month so definitely more expensive than a regular toothbrush, but for my kid with braces/expander it was the only way to get his teeth clean. Hope this helps.

Gets teeth much cleaner

Prefer this to a traditional toothbrush for our kids. Dentist recommended this and it reduces plaque more than traditional brushing.

I've been using Oral-B electric toothbrushes for over 20 years. They last so long. Mine always last more than 5 years, easy. So I was kind of behind on the latest model and its functions. I decided to go for a decent model with good specs. After some study and comparison, I realized that the most expensive models weren't really any better than some of the "mid-priced" models. They just had unnecessary features like bluetooth and wifi for a toothbrush? Seriously? So I located the best model for the price and that was the Oral-B Pro 1500. It goes for about $67. So I was about to make my purchase when I noticed down a few lines on the page of products there was a model that looked identical to the 1500, but it was for kids with Star Wars and Minnie Mouse on the front. The Star Wars model was only $45! and the Minnie Mouse was $37!! Well thank you Miss Mouse for the $30 discount. I'm a 56 year old man with a brand new Minnie Mouse toothbrush. It works great. The image of Minnie is not a decal. It is permanently part of the brush. You just need to realize how much of a Minnie Mouse fan you really are. Update: 12/3/2022 Even though this item is more expensive now than two years ago, it's still a good deal for a few reasons. If you try to buy the simple adult version Oral-B Pro 1500, it doesn't really exist. They have added the word 'smart' and it also looks different. I'm sure it's still a good brush, but have no experience with it. The closest unit to the original Oral-B Pro 1500 is the Oral-B Pro 3000 3D White. It looks just like this kids version except for the charging base. And it's about $90. So I still recommend grabbing this kids version while it lasts. I almost feel like I should buy one and keep it in storage, because the way things are going it won't be for sale when I need it. Pro tip for those of you who don't like flossing. Who does? I use this Pro-1500 model with Oral-b Trizone Toothbrush Heads, and when I floss the floss has never been cleaner. It's almost redundant. If you have been using the circular heads for a long time, like me, you will probably look at this Trizone large head and think 'No way!' but give it a try for a week or two and you'll see that your teeth are cleaner all over and in between. I'm so happy I discovered them. I don't sell this product or work for Oral-b, I just appreciate it when I come across a helpful comment.

Best adult Oral-b toothbrush for your money

Except for the branding, this toothbrush is identical to the Oral-B Pro 1500. The branding is the only kid specific thing about it, so this is probably the best toothbrush for your money for adults. (The character decal does not come off easily, it might with a solvent, but I haven't tried.) This toothbrush is regularly available for under $70, and has some significant improvements over the Pro 1000 and even other more expensive brushes in the Pro line. The main reasons I bought this brush: - Lithium ion battery with a 14-day charge. Until you get up to the Pro 6000 all of the other brushes have a NiMH battery. - 45000 pulsations and 9900 oscillations per minute. This is the most powerful brush until you get up to the Genius line. - 2 brush heads. Most come with 1. - Most inexpensive brush with a light up pressure sensor. It only has two brushing modes, no Bluetooth connectivity, no travel case, no storage for extra brush heads. Are having these features and more brushing modes worth paying $30+ more while getting less power, a worse battery, and only one brush head? Certainly not for me. I haven't experienced any issues with this brush and it has a 2-year warranty so it feels like a solid purchase.

So so

I bought it mainly for the minute minder functions and to monitor the pressure the kids are putting on their gums. The minute minuter never worked, no sound, no noise, no nothing. And for the pressure, you really have to exert a lot of pressure to get the light to come on, which I don't think is the right thing to do. It's a pretty big product and it vibrates hard, it's not for a kid who doesn't have the strength to use it.

Brushcslowly, let the brush work for you

No need to flatten your bristles anymore. Let the cleaning head do the work. It comes with 2 soft bristle brushes for kids. This is a 1500 series. Better battery and some okay features. An improvement 9ver sonicare toothbrushes that have dropped in quality and brush head coverage. I wont buy sonicare anymore. Over priced and poor technology.

Excellent quality and performance

I bought this for my 6 year old who doesn't mind brushing but just never gets into the back corners of his teeth. These work great - with 2 speed options, these get the job done pretty fast and clean. The small but effective head makes the manouevre in the mouth much easier. When I go to help him brush, it's much easier than using a manual brush and the pressure indicator also ensures you're not brushing too hard. The battery life is decent. We get atleast 5 days to a weeks worth of use before it needs a charge I recommend this definitely - just make sure there's sale going on. I paid half price during the black friday sale. Not sure I would pay full price.

Solo tiene 2 velocidades, a diferencia del de adulto que tiene como 7 modos diferentes (lengua, pulido, sensible,etc) Solo prende de color rojo al ejercer mucha presión, a diferencia del de adulto que puedes configurar de muchos colores y además prende con la presión La app de niños está bonita pero nada del otro mundo, mi hija ni la usa... El tamaño es levemente más chicho y ligero que el de adultos (levemente!) Conclusión: gasten un poco más en uno de adultos, peguen una estampa de la caricatura favorita y listo... va a ser la versión mejorada y útil para muuuchos años mas
