Great spray settings
I had one come with a steel coil hose, but left outside and froze it. This replacement works great. No leak, lightweight and nice spray settings. Love it

Plastic hose connections and parts reduce corrosion risks
It's getting harder and harder to find these adjustable nozzles that do not have pig metal hose connections that corrode onto brass hose fittings so badly that they cannot be removed. This product uses plastic for the hose connection. While it may be less durable, it prevents the nozzle from freezing onto the hose. Orbit used to make a less expensive version, but this one has heavier plastic at a much higher price.

From a car washer's perspective
I needed a new nozzle for my hose after my previous one broke. I was shopping around Amazon looking for the cheapest yet reliable nozzle and found this one. I intended to use this nozzle mostly for car washing alongside some garden watering. As soon as the item arrived, I gripped the nozzle and was immediately satisfied with how comfortable it felt. Later that day I took the nozzle out, attached it to my hose and started to wash my car. I'm a car enthusiast and own a Mitsubishi Evolution X which I highly praise. I thoroughly wash my car with an assortment of soaps and baby it when doing so. I wanted a nozzle that wouldn't punish my car's paint, yet would provide an adequate amount of pressure to wash away much of the residue that cars build up. This may be a bit a bias, but this is my first nozzle with more than 3 functions. I was satisfied with the spouts provided and mainly use "Jet" for the initial wash down and "Shower" for the remaining car wash. The knob that you turn to change each spout is very easy to move and seems sturdy. It takes me about 1 to 2 hours washing my car because of the detail I go through and not once was my hand ever cramped or showed signs of becoming sore. I will update this review in the coming months if leaks begin to surface, but otherwise, the comfort, the variety of nozzles, and the price is hard to beat.

Preferred over others
This nozzle really fits the bill with good spray patterns that work well, good water pressure and good ease of use. Because it's plastic, I'll have to take it in for the winter lest it leak next season, but so far it doesn't leak at all. Each of the patterns is distinct in its function and useful and something about the design allows great water pressure where you need it even if you have a well and lower pressure overall, as I do. The gentle shower pattern, a favorite for me, works really nicely with a nice overall spray and decent enough pressure to water the back of my 8' deep garden as effectively as the front. The jet is great. The pattern ring doesn't turn quite as easily as my Toro nozzle, nor is the trigger quite as easy to squeeze, but both are quite doable even with arthritis in my hands and the lock is easy to flip into place so you don't have to squeeze the trigger for long periods. The patterns are so much more effective than the more expensive red and silver Toro, I'm definitely replacing others with this one when needed. I'll leave the Toro on in the winter, because if it cracks and leaks, I won't really care. This is a great nozzle that meets a lot of needs from vegetable gardens to potted plants.

Decent cheap sprayer
I thought about giving it only 3 stars, since it's not metal and therefore more prone to breakage, however obviously the reason you buy this model, is to save money over a more durable made sprayer, so I bumped it up to 4 stars. This works every bit as good, so if you're here to buy something cheap to get things wet, this is it. You'll throw it out after the first time you throw it down on some concrete and it breaks, and it will break eventually, which is really part of the deal buying a sprayer at such a low price. But while it's not broken from that kind of mishap, it's an awesome sprayer, offering all the right patterns and good pressure, with no leaks. I really like the jet mode, as I'm also too cheap to buy an actual pressure washer, so this is as close as I'll get to that, and it does the job for blasting most things.

Does the job
I have replaced so many nozzles that I've lost count. I purchased a half dozen at the beginning of the season from Lowe's, and I purchased the most expensive ones that they offered, thinking that those would last and be the best option. After half a season, all of the Lowe's nozzles broke, so I replaced them with the much less expensive Orbit plastic models that I ordered from Amazon; and so far, these are working just great. Even if these Orbit nozzles don't last a long time, I can replace them twice from Amazon and pay less that the Lowe's nozzles that broke. When these stop working (and all hose nozzles do wear out over time), I plan to order more from Amazon. For the price (or for any price), these Orbit nozzles are doing what I purchased them to do, and they don't leak, which was a problem with the more expensive nozzles purchased at the local warehouse superstore.

Good value for the price
This is a nice little sprayer for the price. I gave it four stars because within two months the little metal thing that holds the handle in an open position had fallen off, plus it never worked that well in the first place. It only held it about 60% open. Plus I feel that there is a setting missing. The shower setting is at a nice power, but it is only along the outside perimeter, and makes even watering difficult because the water distributes in a fairly big circle. If you use the inner perimeter holes, it is too forceful for gardening. I wish there was a setting that combines the two at a modest force. I will probably try and find that even if it's more expensive. But I'm not unhappy I purchased this.

It's a hose nozzle. Used it for intended purpose. Did the job. Nothing outstanding. A nozzle like any other in lower price range

Broke on first use
After 10 minutes of use the trigger stopped working and the rotating selector started leaking. Now it doesn't turn off and water pours out of the sides of the head.

poor quality
Product arrived as described, in good packaging. The product works alright but the plastic components are very cheap quality. you can feel them bend and creak in your hand. The control nut is very cheap plastic and fell off almost immediately. Good product if you don't use it much but I do not see this last a full season.
