PRODUCTBESCHRIJVING Ore International's 3031TB twee-lichts verstelbare tafellamp combineert eigentijdse uitstraling met een handige lichtbron. De tafellamp heeft een gepolijste metalen behuizing met een schijfvormige voet voor stabiliteit, samen met twee verticale palen waaraan de twee afzonderlijke lampen van de lamp hangen - de ene verticaal boven de andere geplaatst. Great lamp

This is my second one, the first one lasted about 7 years and still worked. The cover cracked up from the heat of the light bulb. If I could have found a new cover I would have kept it. I loved it so much I just bought anew one.

Where the cord is located is a little strange. You would think most people would want the lights parallel to the wall, but it looks great on my desk!

Small footprint, yet good range of lighting

Not a bad lamp for the price. As other reviewers have noted, the cans are too short for any of the standard lightbulbs I tried, both CFC and incandescent. Really kind of a bonehead mistake by the manufacturer, which is why I gave it four stars. On the positive side, the lamp has good footprint-to-light circle ratio, due to its stacked light cans and the fact that they can each be aimed in a reasonable arc. I also like that each can has its own on-off knob so you can go bright or more intimate. Also, the rotating cans make this a good task light as well as general room lighting. Please note that the cans are mounted between two metal posts, which the main picture doesn't show, so you do not have full, 3-D rotation, just in a flat circle in one plane. One caveat. I bought the recommended (by Amazon) pack of CFCs which are supposed to be the equivalent of a 60 watt incandescent. They are not. I'd say 40 watts at best. So, be warned to be sure that the bulbs you buy are going to suit your needs and expectations. My only concern is that, over time, rotating the cans may cause them to slip and not hold position, but we'll have to see how that works out for us. .

I find this lamp useful. The lamp sits stably on the furniture, even with heavier CFL and LED bulbs. The base is covered by a felt fabric so it won't scratch the furniture. As some reviewers remarked, the assembly is not of the highest quality, but the manufacturer used nuts and bolts that can be loosened and adjusted. So a reasonably handy person can improve the cosmetics, if needed. The finish looks like brushed stainless steel, the manufacturer merely says it's "polished metal". So some kind of protection against corrosion (salt of fingerprints) is needed. There are vent holes in the base of the shades but because the shades can be tilted to any angle, I would avoid using conventional incandescent light bulbs greater than 25 watts. More than that you risk melting the plastic diffuser. CFL and LED bulbs produce much less heat and should be fine. The light pattern of this lamp is very pleasing, verging on the "dramatic". Overall this is a fine lamp for the money.

Love this lamp!

I love this lamp! Purchased it last year for my home makeup studio/office & it sits nicely on my desk without taking up too much room. The lights can be turned depending on how you want to use them and you can also turn on one only for a dimmer effect. Easy to clean, doesn't collect much dust between cleanings and has a nice chic, modern, clean appeal in any room. The price was perfect and shipped in excellent packaging. Update 9/2/2022: Bought the first one in 2015 and five years later, one of the shades cracked. Bought this one in 2020 and one of the lights now turns on & off on its own despite having the outlet checked and bulb changed a few times, something's gone wrong with the internal wiring of this lamp. It does not get moved & remains in the same spot at all times. Now I see the price has gone up $30. Will go to Target and buy another $20 lamp that's lasted forever.

Attractive Functional Lamp!

I ordered one of these lamps, before Christmas. The other.. two weeks ago. Packaging for both.. was surprisingly awful! The first one so poorly packaged I hesitated to order a second... but the lamp is SO nice... I took the chance. The second lamp ordered... packaging was just as awful (if not worse) and they forgot to include the bulbs! Beyond the poor packaging (and missing bulbs for the second lamp ordered).... The lamps are GREAT! They look great on the livingroom sofa end tables (many comments & compliments!). And, the lighting is wonderful! They are definitely worth taking the poor packaging chance. Hopefully Amazon will improve on that... because these really are very nice, unique and attractive, lamps.... that give off great lighting!

Disturbing

I wanted this lamp because of the two fully rotating heads on a tabletop base. I've liked it except the description says "60 Watt bulbs, not included" so I ordered two of those but bulbs were included with the lamp. One burned out already (about a month) and within a short time of replacing it with a 60-watt it smelled like something was burning, that's when I looked closer and discovered the sticker on the lamp itself says no higher than 40-watt and must be the decorative type of bulb. This is dangerous and shame on Amazon for having product description specs that are inaccurately hazardous. Was going to buy 2 more of these, now not so sure

Great Lamp for Price.

Received lamp today and am using it already. Like the floorlamp it is paired with, the only reason I cannot give it five stars is that the on/off switches are chrome painted or plated plastic and do not match the brushed metal of the remainder of the lamp. This was a little disappointing. As I mentioned in my update of the floorlamp, this is not a disappointment in the seller, but the manufacturer. Seems so easy to have brushed metal on/off switches on such an otherwise great lamp. I would be glad to order replacement brushed metal switches and pay for them if available. Otherwise, this would be a five star item. It matches well the floorlamp as indicated in the Amazon description. A good lamp, with superior styling, at a good price.
