Excellent shampoo!
I have a little bit of eczema on the scalp on the top of my head and this "anti-dandruff" shampoo is just right. I only need a little to get the job done. I have a fragrance sensitivity and there is almost no fragrance at all, certainly not enough to bother me. Nice job, Oribe!

Love this shampoo
I have terrible dry scalp to the point I will make scabs on my scalp… (EW I KNOW) this shampoo and conditioner IS THE BEST LIFE SAVING! Like nothing else works. I’ve tried the dermatologist and got shampoos and steroids and nothing helps! But this stuff idk how but keeps my scalp so moisturized ! 10/10.

Hello there, Amazon! I purchased this shampoo (and conditioner that I’ll review here) and just took my first shower with it. Here are my initial impressions! Shampoo: Scent: I love it. It’s a green, crisp smell like sweet cut grass and herbs drenched in fruity water. I could see very vaguely how some people could get roses out of it but the floral smell is more like tulips to me. Appearance: The bottle is a gorgeous soft pink and the actual liquid itself is a shimmery mother of pearl color. Lather: Not much! It was smooth and soft on my hands and when I rubbed them together it made this very creamy foam. In my hair it spread evenly but felt a little oily and heavy. I was a little worried that it was too heavy for my hair because it’s short and straight but after rinsing it out, there was nothing left over and my hair didn’t have that stripped, squeaky feeling. It felt moisturized. I only used a teaspoons worth, if that. Conditioner: Scent: It’s really close to the shampoo but you can smell the creaminess of the shea butter. It’s a little bit heavier on the nose. Appearance: The bottle is definitely pretty but it’s a tube instead of a matching bottle. I like it and I don’t at the same time because I like my stuff to match, but that’s personal preference. It’s a creamy texture and very luxe on the hands. Lather: None, but oh boy does it feel just lovely in my hair. The softness drenched my strands in a really comfortable way, without weighing them down or feeling suffocating. I left it on as I deign to do while I clean up the rest of the way and when I rinsed it out it came out really well. Some conditioners are hard to get out all the way and leave a strange residue. This one didn’t! Results: Bouncy, soft, happy hair! My hair was really, really oily when I got in because I have seborrheic dermatitis and boy, miss a day or two and I get gross. It’s all gone! I mean…this is nasty but my hair changed a shade because it got out old oils that I haven’t been able to get out unless I use an intense rinse such as apple cider vinegar. It’s that good. I can’t speak to effectiveness over time, but my scalp feels light and happy so I have high hopes! Here’s hoping I remember to come back in a month or so with updates, huh? ???? Sulfate free isn't for everyone
I've been using this shampoo for about a month now along with the corresponding conditioner and leave-in spray. Although I have enjoyed the experience of using them, I have noticed that my scalp has become slightly more inflamed. I want to be clear, I do NOT think that this shampoo caused any irritation. It is extremely mild and very gentle. I have no reason to believe that there are any harsh ingredients in this shampoo that I responded negatively to. Unfortunately, I think that the gentle nature of this product is exactly the issue. Being an anti-dandruff shampoo, I expected this to be somewhat abrasive in nature when cleansing the scalp. Yesterday, when I reached to use this again, I realized I was not very excited to use it. A luxury shampoo I had bought as a treat for myself? Why would I not look forward to using it? In a few seconds, I realized that it was simply because my arms were always extremely tired afterward! I took note of how much effort I had to expend (and the excessive amount of product it took), for me to physically get the shampoo to graze every part of my scalp. If you have dandruff, this is exactly why you're washing your hair in the first place, right? I decided that I would check the ingredient list since I suspected that the shampoo was sulfate-free. Unfortunately, it is :( I know that many people see this as a positive thing, so if that's what you're looking for, know that it is indeed sulfate-free. I'm not exactly complaining, I shouldn't have been surprised, but this product is simply not for me. I'm someone who truly does have excessive sebum build-up on my scalp. My hair was in horrible condition and refused to grow after 3ish years of using sulfate-free products. After doing research and learning what sulfates actually were (because if I'm being honest, I really didn't know) I vowed 6 months ago to only use shampoos that DO contain sulfates for the sake of my scalp's health, which in turn improved my hair's condition drastically. I just assumed that this would have sulfates because it isn't marketed as being sulfate-free, but again, that is my mistake. I really do like the conditioner and the leave-in spray, so maybe I will look into the other shampoos they make. If sulfate-free works for you, then that's all that matters. Good luck!

long wait, opened product
I thought the $100 Oribe shampoo/conditioner bundle would save money but its only stressed me out. After a lengthy wait, this came in a battered box with no inner foil seal under the lid. I havn't used this yet as I'm not sure its real and the conditioner is still yet to arrive.

Works
My only complaint is the cost. But it is one of the only shampoos that work as well for dandruff issues. So I’m the end worth it.
