Style great, toe design poor

Our local shoe store was out of our son's size & they recommended going a half size up for this brand (amazon had for same price). The problem with the shoe is that the reinforced toe leads into a softer suede material, and since they recommend your kids wear shoes so that their toe is a thumb's length from the toe of the shoe, the suede creases in that space and just makes it look a little more rundown than what i'd like for the cost & the amount he actually wears these (maybe once a week - he wears NIke sneaks every other day & we don't have the same problem with those). Also, after one wear some strings started to fray off of the straps. After cutting them off they seem to be doing fine, but again, would just expect a little more for the price. Style is great - which is the reason we bought them.

Cute shoes - too small!

These are nice shoes - really well made and would be great early walkers for my son. Unfortunately, they seem to run small. DS wears a 5 from Stride Rite and those are a little big, but the Pediped 5 was too small. We must have ordered them on a random day when a sale was going on because when I went to re-order the larger size, the price was back up to full price. Oh well! Now we know Pediped sizing for DS and will be better informed for our next purchase.

Great shoes

The Pediped brand is awesome. We've gotten cheap shoes for our kids before and they couldn't stand to be in them for more than a couple of hours. Yes these cost a bit more but you will get more use out of them than cheap shoes. The shoes have great arch support and are really flexable. This has helped our boys in learning how to walk easier than stiff ridged cheap shoes. I would recommend these shoes to anyone in the market for shoes for their toddler.

Nice style but they run small

My son wears a 6 and I had to go up a size with these ones. Also, the shoes are a bit narrow and pediped does not provide W options (useful for small boys' feet). Other than that, the style is very cute and the shoes are very light. One thing parents should be aware of is that the blue "suede" is not leather, is actually fabric.

We like it!

We are fans of the pedipeds. They look comfy and seem to fit well. Toddler asks to wear them and hasn't complained about any discomfort. They are easy to put on and take off. It is hard to assess the actual fit and comfort when it's going on a toddler who isn't highly expressive about the way a shoe feels around the feet. We bought this and the Flex Adrian Sneaker both in the same size. This one seems a bit wider.

My Baby Loves them!

These were recomended by our pediatrician because our son was walking very pigeon toed. We ordered them a little big since they were pricy for kid's shoes so he had to get used to that. Now he will randomly go and find them during the day, bring them to one of us, plop down and put his foot in the air to put them on him. He just loves them, and is walking straighter too. :-)

we like them

I ordered size 7 (W) as some review mentioned that those run small- but they seems to be the correct size. They are a little bit big (we are at size 6.5 now). Easy to put on. Overall we like them.

Great shoe for your young child

Good support makes a developing child learn to walk that much better. We looked for the best and believe we have found it.
