Cute shoes but some of the pink paint was coming off

My baby girl hadn't worn these shoes long when I noticed the paint chipping off a little in the back. Never had this happen before with this brand and love pediped shoes. Not sure if I just got a defect. They still work great and are my daughter's primary shoes.

Awesome sole, perfect for chubby, wide feet!

These are amazing! They’re the first pair of pediped I’ve purchased for my 9 mo old, and they fit the bill. They are a little big - I ordered size 12-18 mo, but she’s still able to walk in them. I will be purchasing a smaller size but will keep these to grow into. I prefer these to the Robeez as the leather sole is much thicker and the Mary Jane style seems to stay on the foot much better. (This is baby #6, and I’ve never been into the Robeez style shoes. I had a lot of See Kai Runs with the other kids). My baby hates shoes (I’ve tried Ugg’s, Sperrys, Toms and Old Navy Mary Janes) and she would kick and rip them off. Not these. Plus, they’re so light and pliable compared to the others - so I think the lack of bulk also makes them more comfortable for her. And her wide, chubby foot fits perfect - all of the other shoes looked over stuffed on the areas around the top of the foot. Also, these can be worn with thick socks without compromising fit. I’m a fan! Will definitely be ordering more, since they are even more adorable than they are functional!

Seem decent quality; not for babies with cankles

Decent quality but my baby’s chunky ankles were too tight up against the strap and had a red crease after about ten seconds of trying to get the shoe fit to her. Toes had plenty of room. Not for babies with cankles.

We love pedipeds!

Each of my 3 kids have had a pair of pedipeds that became their signature baby shoe that they wore almost daily. I love them because they actually STAY ON my children's feet unlike other brands we tried. The sandals are a fantastic alternative to bare feet in warmer climates where socks are rarely required. Depending on how large your children's feet are, you probably won't ever purchase the originals (with the smooth soles) beyond the 6-12 month size because once your child starts running, they will slip. However, the smooth soles are fantastic during the learn-to-walk stage because there is a lot of foot-shuffling that happens when babies are first learning to walk. Also, I've found these shoes run large. The 0-6 month shoe tends to fit 3-9 months. Also, a note to the previous reviewer that said their shoes didn't last...call the company, I've never had that happen, and as I mentioned before, we wear our pedipeds daily for months on end with great results. You may have just gotten a defective pair, and the company hopefully will stand behind their product!

Love!

I ordered these shoes for my 9 month old daughter who is learning to walk and so far they are wonderful. I used the size chart on Pediped's website and went with the 0-6 month size, which seemed risky (I thought she'd fit in the 6-12 month), but I'm glad I did. They have a little wiggle room, which is perfect because it's still a little chilly and she's wearing socks with them. They seem durable enough to last a few months as her main pair of shoes, before going up a size. I love the way they grip the floor- her mobility seems to have increased since we put her in them- no more slip sliding around in crib shoes. I will definitely be ordering Pediped again. The price is a little steep, but 100% worth it.

Will only buy Pediped for my baby girl now!

We love these shoes. My daughter began walking just before nine months old and these and a pair of Robeez are the only ones that actually allow her to walk normally and without a weird gait. She also has wide feet and these still fit her well and comfortably. I'm not sure about other babies but she is almost a year old and still in a size 0-6 months in Pediped shoes. She is on the smaller side anyway but I think these may run a bit on the larger side. I tried a pair of Pediped shoes on her at Von Maur just to know what her size is and then ordered these here on Amazon since Von Maur didn't have this exact shoe.

Best shoes, worth the price!

I have loved this brand and style of shoe for almost a year now, my daughter prefers these to any other type. Great for summer as a sandal that can hold up during outdoor play. Good ventilation for her feet in hot weather. She is 18 mo now and can almost put these on herself, easy Velcro closure. Unbelievable price, I got so lucky they are always 40$ no matter where you look. She grew out of her first pair and they still look almost new even with daily use. When she was learning to walk these were amazing and helped protect her feet while still giving the benefits of bare foot walking like the MD recommends. Best shoes I have come across!

High Quality, Flexible, and Comfortable Toddler Shoes

We purchased these for my 18 month old daughter. My daughter started walking at 9 months and I found pediped's work well for her with the soft soled bottoms and flexibility. She loves these shoes. She asks to put them on and walks around in them even though they are just a bit big right now, I'm sure she'll start wearing them daily in another month or two. The shoes are exactly what I would expect pediped's to look like and feel like. They appear durable and comfortable. I will update my review after my daughter has worn the shoes daily for a few months. At this time she tends to grow in and out of shoes every 4-6 months.

Very comfortable shoes, easy to put on

Very comfortable shoes, easy to put on, breathable and durable. Fit a little large on my child but she was always a bit small. Got the 12-18month size and it came out at about a 4g in clark's money. Yes, they're expensive but well worth the money for us.

Buena calidad

Son de buena calidad y cumplen con todos los requisitos que debe tener el calzado de primeros pasos: son flexibles (se pueden doblar a más de 90º), la parte trasera es blanda y deja buena movilidad al tobillo... Únicamente creo que la suela debería ser más blanda, para que la pisada se parezca más a la del pie descalzo

Comfortable minimal shoes

Erstklassige Minimalschuhe. Etwas rutschige Sohle, aber damit habe ich gerechnet. Super weich und bequem. Und sie sehen auch sehr schön aus.
