Wool is terrific in the northwest

I lost my original Pendleton had in a windstorm. This is a replacement. This one is from China, I believe. Quality is good. Fit is good. Look and feel is what I wanted. I appreciate the wide brim on the Outback hat. Downside: this hat's color is a puree brown. A nice color, but too pure. The earlier version of this hate (probably made in Oregon) had a more complex color and therefore it complemented and matched other clothing more easily. The original hat was a little softer. This is is slightly more manufactured. It is subtle, but different. If you haven't owned the original, this one will feel great. If I could get the original I would buy the original. This one is good. Almost as good as the original. Come on, Pendleten, make your own stuff.

Floppy brim, a little big.

It’s good quality material, but they didn’t protect the brim during shipping. It looks floppy l, and I didn’t want to have to re shape the brim. But here we are.

A Comfortable, Inexpensive Cold-weather Hat.

This has been my favorite hat for colder weather for years. It is soft and warm. The old one was showing its age, so I just ordered a new one and was surprised how much the old one had faded with the years of use. I could no longer find the size of the old one, so I ordered XXL as I have trouble finding hats large enough, but I ended up swapping down to the XL. The only thing I would change if I could would be to make the crown a bit higher, but that is a minor complaint. I get compliments on the hat every once in a while from people of all ages.

Sadly, I was not able to get the fit I expected but a size band on the inside of the band made it fit almost perfect. I have other Pendleton hats and they are of a good quality. When the options are small or medium it is hard t get an exact fit.

Practical and cool

Returned for a larger size.; exchange was easy and hassle free. Son loves the brown and the weight is solid but not sweat-enducing. Water resistence will be a great feature; he wears his hats daily. Brim is slightly larger than other manufacturers, providing more shade and shelter but also a little darker on face.

There's nothing inherently wrong with the hat, it's just not what I was looking for.

Disappointed.

I love this hat but very disappointed that Is was put into my small mailbox so the hat was almost flat. Not sure I would ever buy again.

Stylish and sleek, unlined and low crown

The hat is smooth with a nice brim that has a stylish shape. However the crown is low and the hat is unlined. Overall, the hat is decent quality for the price.

Says Pendleton.. Maybe not?

Stamp on the inside of it says Pendleton.. and I was quite disappointed in the quality of the workmanship of this hat.. this hat is made of an inferior wool thinner than the current hat that I have.. Pendleton by trademark is set to a higher standard in workmanship and materials.. I don't believe this hat to be authentic Pendleton gear.. even though it supports the name Pendleton.. I'll be returning this one and continuing my search for another hat the same as my current one..
