I love it, But
The reason why I took away one star is because the cord is too short. I purchased this fountain for my two babies. However, cats being cats the unthinkable happened. One of my cats started playing with the cord that might not have been a problem if I didn't have to prop the fountain up so the cord could reach the outlet in the bathroom. So, now I'm about to purchase the wireless one to this brand. Unfortunately, I couldn't return it because I had it too long. The wireless fountain is $59.0 so I'm really disappointed in this company. Why didn't they make the cord a little longer? I saw videos where people had their prop up as well. However, I shouldn't have trusted my cats. Cats always getting into things. If you're going to purchase this one make sure you don't need to prop it up to reach the outlet. Because, you made run into the same problem I did with the cord right in the cat's face ???????? and if it's on top of something it will make it easier to knock over. The last thing I wanted to say is, do your homework on these fountains before you waste money.????????????

My cat drinks so much water now!
This is by far my favorite Amazon purchase to date. I purchased this over a year ago and the difference in my cat is astounding. My sweet Stella hated drinking from her water bowl and would go through one 4-8 oz bowl throughout the course of a week. Now I have to fill this water fountain every 5-7 days. Stella drinks significantly more water now than she ever did before. It’s easy for me to clean and reassemble, the fountain and comes with a pipe cleaner to make cleaning easier. When we first got the water fountain she spent hours going from playing to drinking water back to playing. If you think your cat hates their water dish or isn’t drinking nearly enough water to survive this is the product for you. I still can’t believe I was on the fence when my husband first showed this to me.

Great little fountain but not very durable - UPDATE
UPDATE: All of the info in my prior review remains accurate, but it's worth speaking up to say that Pet Libro's customer support is INCREDIBLE. After posting this review, they sent me a replacement of a newer model, made of stainless steel (uncrackable!), which my little kitten girl LOVES. I think the high-spray option freaks her out a bit, but she might be the best hydrated cat in the world now, and it's so nice not to worry about dust and junk in her water. Will post a full review of the new model on its own product page (five stars!), but upping this a star since it seems that Pet Libro is willing to make right by their products - even without being asked! I'm definitely a loyal-for-life customer. I used this for a few months to keep as a second source of water for my little bean since she liked to hang out in the bedroom where we sleep away from her usual water dish, which is why I'm surprised that in just a few months it has cracked. There are hairline cracks crawling up the side from the bottom and one long and much deeper crack extending from the top down. It sits out of the way up against the side of a nightstand well removed from where it could be kicked by any human, so all I can figure is that a few months of wear and tear damaged the integrity of the plastic. Bummed too as this is one of the few fountains under $30 that doesn't have an annoying LED light on it - I have severe migraines so any additional light in the bedroom is too much light. Oh well. I suppose I'll keep looking.

Nice and good looking fountain!
Very nice product, my cats enjoy this fountain very much, specially my cat that has had recurtent UTI problems, it seems to help him drink more often and flush the bacteria out with the the more urine passing, I'm sure the burning sensation from UTIs is also eased that way. Our vet actually recommended a product like this for those reasons. Also, I was able to go on a short vacation and had this product on a timer so my neighbor could assist the cats every other day, however my neighbor never had to worry about the fountain - I find this an amazing perk as I can rely on fresh running water for my elderly cats, while making things easier on my neighbor tending to the cats needs when I'm out of town. Lastly but not least, I've experienced the best customer service at Petlibro out of all Amazon products I ever bought. Petlibro assisted me promptly, they were interested in helping and that is hard to find these days. It really does show these people love cats! 10/10 recommend.

Sadie Loves Her New Fountain
I've had a number of cat fountains in the past and have been unhappy with how difficult they are to clean, filters that leech carbon particles, and a frustrating build up of calcium. This fountain had good reviews so I bought it. I didn't like the written instructions so found an easy-to-understand set on You-Tube. Immediately the fountain began to work with a steady, and silent, stream of water. It took my sweet scaredy-cat Sadie a week to begin using it, but now she loves it, and she seems to be drinking more water. Note: When cleaning the fountain, make sure you clean every part. I didn't clean the bottom filter and items it sit in, and it resulted in no and/or no flow. (I know, duh.) Once I cleaned the pre-filter and part it's attached to, it ran perfectly again.

Excellent cat fountain
I waited to review this since so many fountains I’ve tried start strong and then go south quickly. I’ve had this for 5 months now and I’m happy with it every day. The fountain is as quiet today as it was 5 months ago brand new. The only sound is from the trickling water as it falls, there’s no loud pump motor running that has driven me nutty with so many others. It’s also easy to clean and aesthetically pleasing in my house. And it does it’s main job - my two cats (and occasionally the dog) drink from it. The cats like the little basin and just occasionally swipe a paw through the falling water to test if it’s still wet. I really have no complaints and would buy this again and again.

Nice for kitty
He's a cat that loves drinking from the tap, I needed to change that, so got him this. First he stuck his paw in the water and walked away, then came back and looked it over and has drank from it ever since. Read through the instructions, very easy, straight forward. I put it in the bathroom on the tile floor, instead of hardwood elsewhere because I thought he might knock it over; I now doubt he would.

BEWARE! No filter replacement possible in Canada
Ordered this for my cat who has a flat face and she loves it. I can hear her lapping away at it every little while. It was easy enough to assemble but the biggest downfall right now is that I can't buy replacement filters anywhere! I'm buying from Canada and the Amazon listing for replacement filters says "unavailable" and their site only ships within the US. I emailed them — hopefully I'll get a response. For something that requires filter replacement every 2 weeks (!!!) this is a huge letdown. Basically inutile already.

Unacceptable: impossible to buy replacement filter in Canada
Why would sell an article with parts that need replacement every two weeks but not sell the replacement parts in the same country where it’s been sold? It is unacceptable. I live in Quebec, Canada and I can’t find any online store that sell replacement filters. What do I do now? Total waste of money.

Great for rabbits.
The media could not be loaded. Perfect size and height for our dwarf bunny ???? she isn't the greatest with a bottle or bowl, this stops her from dunking her face or soaking her ears. Easy instructions to follow and to assemble, hardly any noise, keeps water fresh and clean. Would definitely recommend.

Needs improvement to meet my cats needs
(Changed from *** to ***** because the excellent customer service contacted me to resolve my issues with their product and are in the process of developing an improved model) My issues - Cats able to empty water on to floor by playing with the fountain and standing on it - Despite having a filter, the water in tank still full of grit and fur quickly - Not ideal to have to frequently replace filter
