Works but...
Exactly as described and works great. Only problem is 3 of the 4 little peg legs for the corners were missing upon arrival, no where in the packaging either (figures id glue them on). Due to my work schedule I'm unable to make it to a post office to replace it.

Waste of money. Meat defrost just as quickly using a metal pan.

Works surprisingly well
I was honestly sceptical of this product but my wife really wanted it, so we bought it. It works surprisingly well. The meat that is in direct contact with the tray defrosts so much quicker than it does even submerged in water. We've found that it works best to periodically flip the meat for an even defrost.

Actually bought this as a gift because my daughter saw me using mine. I use it at least weekly to thaw frozen meat. It takes about 1 hour to thaw 3/4 inch burger patties. I usually buy "family" size package of meat and freeze into meal-sized portions. The tray works best if the item is not too thick, so a try to freeze in one layer. Really speeds up the defrosting. If I am really in a hurry, I will heat the tray with hot water to give it a head start. I also have two of these so I can put one on top as well.
