This cover comes with a "generous" 12 year warranty, generous in the laugh that someone thinks it could last that long. Attempts to contact the manufacturer for warranty coverage have resulted in no one actually answering their phone. Ignoring the warranty issues, this cover has been terrible. I bought this cover in September of 2017, the pool was winterized in early October 2017, by Christmas 2017 the cover look it was several years old and already starting to shred and tear. Worse than the shredding, it has served more as a colander than a cover. Every time I go out, the cover is full of water and draining the water off just causes pool water to fill the cover (effectively draining the pool through the cover). In my area we don't use floats under the cover because we don't get ice but do get winds that grab the cover due to the floats, but I have never had a cover leak water through from the pool as bad as this (and certainly not in the first year or two of the cover's life). We have had periods with no rain where I would drain the cover and the next day it would be filled back up. Other reviews are reporting the same issues. If this cover was free, I still wouldn't take it as it gives no benefit and will only be a pain in the tailbone to uncover the pool. Amazon has generously dealt with the matter and passed it on to their investigations team to determine why the manufacturer is non-responsive. Five stars to Amazon for their customer service.

So far, so good

I just closed our pool a week ago, and with the help of 4 other folks, was able to install the cover with ease. As far as the rating I gave it goes, at this juncture it hasn't undergone a harsh Missouri winter yet, but I can say, "so far, so good." I will be able to offer a more definitive assessment next spring when I reopen the pool.

Sturdy cover

This is my second cover. The first one has held up very well. We get a lot of leaves and sticks and it has not torn. I really like the silver color - looking at the dark or black covers during the winter is depressing.

Disappointed

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with this cover. I doubt that we will be able to use this 12-year warrentied cover for a second year. Please see the pictures attached.
