Works great for me
Needed a little more suction power when I demo tile, now I run 2 rigid 6,0 vacuums into a oneida dust collector then a 2 1/4 inch 20 foot hose into the dust collection sleeve I made for my jack hammer, pretty much eliminates dust, probably about 75-90%, makes for happy clients, I only gave it 4 stars because it really doesn’t go from box to vacuum hose, but still managed to make it work with adapters hoses that came with the dust collector

Doesn't fit a standard vacuum.
I wanted to split the hose from my vacuum so I could have my table saw and miter saw attached to the vaccum all the time. Although this conector doesn't really fit on a standard size vaccumm hose. I had to heat it up to make it soft so it could expand and fit the vaccum. Still it didnt work, the vaccum loses power when splitting the hoses .

Quality is good. Thickness is fine. Size of inlet is ok but the two outlets are too big to except the hose from my Ridged shop vac

Inadequate item description, items do not fit together, no customer service.
I ordered various Powertec couplings and big gulp dust hood to make a hood / dust collection system for my table saw. I intentionally ordered all items from one brand to avoid fit-together hassles. Unfortunately nothing fits together or onto my shopvac hose or shopvac inlet. Sometimes the stated connection diameter is OD, sometimes it is ID, Is it so hard to include in the item description both ID and OD measurements? The items would work for the intended purpose if proper connection were possible. Amazingly, the company website product listing does not include double sided, preferably stepped, male connectors that would enable these things to connect. I wrote the company over a week ago through its website for advice on how to connect these things - no response. I'll try duct tape, or maybe a flexible rubber coupling can be made to work. Inadequate item description with no customer service.

Fit for Purpose
Ordered this to use on a new router table to take dust from both the fence and underneath the table. Fitted by 2 1/2" hose a treat. Quite a robust duct and very pleased with my purchase.

There are better affordable options
Way to much $ for something that isn't compatible with most standard vacuum size or plumbing couplers. Wish I had done more research before buying. But you can spend more $ on "powertec" couplers and clamps and hose to fit their own brand.... Do yourself a favour and go to the hardware store and figure something out...or check out other providers products... There this Valley where Lee lives, way more affordable. I ended up buying 1 1/2" abs pipe coupler, which slides inside the y fitting and other powertec products..... disappointed.

Doesn't fit 2 1/2" ShopVac hose.
It's so hard trying to find a y-fitting that will actually connect to ShopVac 2 1/2" hose. You'd think that the fitting would either fit into or fit over the standard size, but no! It's exactly the same size as the hose!! So annoying.
