Lettering fades in time

Likes: Accuracy, stackable (saves storage space), seemingly quality material, two sided design Dislikes: - Painted measurement lettering on plastic rather than stamped lettering on metal. Tablespoon must be most used because all the lettering has rubbed off. - The magnets; I haven’t found a practical use; they’re a novelty. They also make it necessary to add plastic to the construction, which makes cleaning slightly more difficult (raised edges trap particles). Overall generally satisfied. However, if I was in the market for measuring spoons again, I’d look for 100% metal (no plastic or magnets) with stamped lettering that lasts (as opposed to this painted stuff that rubs away).

These match the wireframe style of WS's 'open kitchen' line...

I found these because Williams Sonoma cancelled their measuring spoons from their open kitchen' line... after I started changing all my utensils! But, it was a blessing in disguise. Because what's better, is that Prepworks/Progressive gives you an extra spoon, and for half the price of the WS set. Thanks!

love the dual side

these measuring spoons come dual sided which was kinda weird at first. theyre not dual sided in the sense of one size on one end and a completely different size on the other end. theyre dual sided with the same size on each end but each end is a different shape. after using them that different shape comes in very handy. i can use the skinny end to reach into small cans like baking powder with ease then use the other end for a liquid or something. the skinny end is a little bit harder to wash but isnt too much of a fuss.

Spot On Test Measure With Water & Scale, Plus A Magnetic Personality

The media could not be loaded. ► Why I like it: These are very accurate. I test measured them using water and my scale and found them to be spot on when the hydrogen bond of the water reached a medium or average sized mound. I did not push it to the maximum, as that was not necessary. Unlike older reviews, mine have the Progressive logo on them and are well made with smooth edges. I received mine on July 13, 2016. I like how they nest very easily. Having the magnets hold them together makes it super easy to separate and put back together. You can also store these on one of those magnetic knife bars if you wanted to. Having both the dry and wet measure for each size on the same spoon is very handy. Many a time when I am using them I find that I need the same measure for both wet and dry. Having two on one means that I do not have to worry about drying a wet spoon in between. I am free to not have to plan ahead of time to avoid drying like I used to do in the past. You don't realize how handy that really is until you use it and discover for yourself. I also like the assortment of sizes. The only one missing is the 1/8th, but really, that's just a pinch anyhow. Having the wider assortment of sizes makes measuring faster and less cleanup as you are not having to combine two measures to get what you need. With flat bases, these stand straight up, full or empty, on any level surface. This is super nice, as you can pre-measure whatever you need to and not worry about it tumbling over when you set it down. A few have said that their markings have started to wear off. I have not experienced that. Maybe that was from the knock-offs that apparently were sold here for a while. I hand wash mine simply because it is faster and it lets me keep them all together and put them all away from those hands that may not tend to put things back (I think we all have one in the family like that). ► Pros: Very accurate. Includes the ml equivalent. Has both a dry and wet measuring spoon for each size. Magnets hold their nesting together making it super easy to separate. No chain or ring to clip and unclip to use these. Stand straight up, full or empty, on any level surface. ► Cons: None. Some have said their labels are beginning to wear, but I have not experienced that. Mine are genuine Progressive products with their logo. ► Suggestions for Improvement: None. ► Would I buy again? Writings wares off

I like these but the tablespoon teaspoon, etc.... writing comes off guess you can figure it out but it should be etched on the metal

Very practical, easy to use, love how the dual ends give you 2-in-1 spoons.

I have used these for a couple of years and enjoyed how they do double-duty for baking and cooking because you can keep one end for wet and the other for dry ingredients. Plus, the narrow end fits down into small spice jars. My girlfriend's daughter came over for for their annual mother-daughter Christmas cookie baking marathon, and she loved these spoons so much that I bought them for her as a stocking-stuffer. There are people out there selling the 2-ended measuring spoons claiming to be this brand, but these are the real thing. The quality here is better than the knock-offs.

Seem very well built and sturdy. I do wish they could be used separately. The ring they are on did not make it easy to just hold one spoon.

Effective and smart little design

I initially thought it was kind of silly to have the double sided design because it meant that you were going to be holding one of the 'scoops', but having one side rounded and one side elongated means that I can access any kind of spice jar I want without any problems - something I have had trouble with using round headed scoops. The fact they are magnetic is super convenient, and they have been sturdy enough so far. I have no reason to make any complaints about them. I will say though that the material that they are made of is relatively thin: I am blanking on what I was specifically dealing with at the time, but I recall trying to scoop something hard and noticing that it was bending slightly before I adjusted my grip to minimize that. Something to be aware of, but otherwise I am entirely happy.

Hard to clip together.

I bought these for a family member. Love the colour and size. So easy to use the narrow end to get into spice jars. The only thing I noticed about them is they are very hard to clip together. One in the middle just seems to refuse to clip into the others. If you press them really hard and make the middle one stick then it is almost impossible to get them apart again. I also have very similar spoons that are magnetic and I feel that they are much better. That being said they are still a nice product.
