As a beginner this canner was easy to use once I studied up on process and science. Very important.

Solid, works like a charm

I had been looking to get a pressure canner for years and this fit the bill. I had to spend the extra to get something compatible with an induction stovetop but it was well worth it. I first tried it during my annual tomato sauce run where I normally use a water bath. It performed exactly as predicted in both videos and the instruction manual. Solidly built, straight forward to use, good capacity. I have no doubt this will deliver years of solid service for me. It takes some practice to find exactly the right stove setting to get it to coast at 11 PSI, but once you get there, it's trouble free and trustworthy, which is something important for an appliance that could in theory detonate if misused (This won't) Note, in this picture I was using an additional separator between levels of jars which is not included with the basic product.

Presto Pressure Canner- 23 Quart

This PRESTO pressure canner is well made. I did water test prior to first use on canned ground meat. No issues. If your a serious canner, the 23 quart presto canner is a must. I highly recommend. My only issue is the retail price. A bit too high.

Great for beginners getting into pressure canning before moving on to nicer ones like All American. You can’t beat it at this price point.
