Het niet-overhandigde ontwerp zal de meeste jaloezie-operators vervangen. Dit is een jaloezie-operator met een aluminium afwerking, gegoten constructie. Montagegaten zijn 4-3/4 inch of 3-7/8 inch in het midden. Het heeft een omkeerbaar, niet-handig ontwerp dat zowel voor links- als rechtshandige installaties kan worden gebruikt. De 3 verbindingsarmen zijn 3-5/16 inch, 3-5/8 inch of 4-1/4 inch lang om tegemoet te komen aan verschillende installatiebehoeften. Works well, but felt I had to use some original parts instead of what was given

I love that this worked. I didn't quite understand the links and the instructions mentioned something about breakaway links, which this did not have. The original link had to be used because it was much longer than what was in the package. (I guess you're supposed to put those links together to get as close or a slight bit longer than the original link..?) Either way, it worked out and I don't have to buy new windows or be stuck with a broken operator or crank or whatever it's called.

Don't believe that Jalousie windows can't be fixed!

Several window companies tried to tell me Jalousie windows couldn't be fixed. I found one person willing to try, ordered the part from Amazon, and the rest is history. The window is completely functional again and I saved the high cost of two replacement windows.

Well built and good quality, but I wish the stud that came with it to connect the link from the operator to the internal link that moves the glass slats was longer. It was too short to allow the e-clip that snaps onto the stud to hold it all together. I had to get a Dremel tool with a grinder wheel and grind down the thickness of the operator link to get the e-ring to snap into the slot on the stud

Jalousie Window Door Saver

Our front door is twenty-five years old. During the months when the weather allows, we enjoy the air that flows through the glass louvers. Periodically the cranks fail so without them the window remains closed until replacement cranks can be purchased. Over the years the cranks purchased always seem to be of the same quality . . . these jalousie operators are manufactured in Taiwan. Installation requires patience and sometimes it's necessary to modify the assemblage. Never the less, the end result is the crank operators work, perhaps not as efficiently as the originals but they do open and close the louvres as expected. The price of a new jalousie window door has never been a consideration as these cranks are suitable replacements for the originals. We keep additional new cranks on hand just in case one is needed. Also one never knows if the manufacture of these essential louver operators comes to an end. After all these years of enjoyment the door would not serve our fresh air needs anymore. Pleased to know companies continue to make them . . . only wish they were made int the USA.

Working handle

I was so happy to have found this jalousie handle. It was easy to install and now I can open and close the windows. The reason for 4 stars had nothing to do with the the quality of the product but that it did not include the size arm that I needed and I didn’t find out about customizable arms until I received the part. That’s probably on me but it was the first handle that I’ve replaced. I made adjustments and it works but I should probably order the arms that can be sized to fit.

Thanks. I couldn't find any in my country

It works but needed a shorter extender arm than the 3 provided so the window can open wider. Also had to use tie strap to attach end of extender arm to the louver rail as I couldn't get behind the rail to use the screw provided.
