De Primula Bryant Dubbelwandige thermische karaf is een dubbelwandige geïsoleerde karaf die uw dranken tot wel 8 uur warm of koud houdt. De inhoud van 1,5 liter en de schuine uitloop zijn perfect voor het bedienen van gasten. Nice for keeping pot of coffee ready for drinking.

I hesitated on ordering this based on reviews that say it didn't keep coffee hot or warm for long. But I am glad I took the chance and purchased this item. You have to preheat the carafe by filling it with hot water for 15 minutes. I fill it to within 1" of the top with hot tap water, then brew a pot of coffee with my brewer. I let the coffee steep in the pot for 5 minutes, pour myself a cup of coffee, empty the hot water from the carafe, then fill it with the remaining coffee in the pot I brewed. The brewed coffee went into the carafe at 6:30am, at 3:30pm I poured a pretty warm cup of coffee. The preheating needs to be done and you should be well satisfied. My only complaint is that you cannot get your hand in the hole to wash it so I use a brush.

Works well.

This is a great product as long as you do not expect the contents to stay hot for more than a couple of hours. Even with filling with boiling hot water and letting the carafe heat up then pouring the coffee in still only stays hot for a couple of hours then it's lukewarm.

Pre heat with hot water to maximize keepings liquids hot for longer.

I like to make hot water for a once or twice a day and keep it warm to have tea whenever I feel like it. I was using a steel thermos which did the job but the silicone seals would deterioate after about a year. Decided to give this a try. Size is good but water only stays hot about four hours. I started putting hot tap water in to preheat and then water from kettle will stay hot about six hours.

Sadly had to return

I liked this but upon opening and inspecting I found water inside along with mild coffee stain. Therefore I am still searching for a carafe that will keep my coffee hot

Very Nice as a SHORT TERM Carafe

Very nice looking coffee carafe. However it is really for SHORT TERM use, maybe a couple of hours (not all day). We knew this before we bought it from other reviews and were fine with it as it meets our needs. It will perform best it you preheat it for a few minutes with boiled water; a couple of cups will do. We put the lid on tight, swirl the water around, let it sit 5 minutes, then put in our hot coffee. We are very happy with it as an approximately 2 hour carafe.

Great product.

This carafe keeps liquids hot literally all day. Pours in a normal stream, not like a twist top. I use it every day and I love it.

metallic or antiseptic taste from inside.

We liked the style and how long it could keep the desired temperature but we stopped using it after 2nd time because we could taste or smell something Metalic flavour. I'm sure it's BPA free and all that but could feel something not healthy using it. We are not sure if it's refundable.
