Great coat - runs large

Great coat. Breaks the wind repells water. Warm. Lots of storage. Runs big.

The longer I own it, the more impressed I am.

When I first got the jacket, wasn’t sure I liked it. It is bulky, which I don’t typically like, however, it was very warm and I haven’t had a really warm jacket, maybe ever, so I decided to keep it. When it got below 30 for the first time last week, I put it on and felt the same, I don’t like the two sleeves at my wrist and it’a bulky, but it was so warm I kept wearing it. The next day, I wore it out in the morning and it warmed up to the mid 30’s by afternoon and sunny so I unzipped the fleece liner and found that without the liner, it’s very comfortable and now has an internal pocket for my second phone. The last few days have been without the liner and I really like it. The easy open side zipper makes accessing your waistline easy despite the jacket’a length (works with the fleece too), discovered the magnetic close front pocket is really useful and I noticed the zippers are extremely smooth and open and close singlehandedly without bunching the material and hanging up. The stitching is well done, with no hanging sections and it feels very durable. Separately the fleece is also comfortable and usable as a jacket. I put them back together tonight and find that I’m becoming accostomed to the bulk and two sleeves. The only other thing I don’t like is the tight flaps over the front pockets, it’s there for weather protection, so for that it will probably be nice (haven’t been in the rain yet) but it’s a little tough to get my larger hands in there and I use pockets a lot. So overall, pretty nice for the price with lots of features and seems well made.

Couldn't Ask For a Better Duty Parka

I work security at a condo building in the mountains of North Carolina. Even in the dead of winter, with temps in the single digits, 20+ mph winds, and snow coming down, one of my duties this past winter was to patrol the outside of the building. This parka, combined with Propper's Full Zip Tech Sweater, as a replacement for the original liner, I stayed warm and dry while completing my rounds. The drop down id panels were perfect for my needs as well since my job requires me to be quickly identifiable by residents and guest. As previously stated, I had to work outside in extremely high winds and the hook and loop attachment points held up perfectly.

Great purchase

Great quality. The design is amazing. Many intelligent compartments. Casual but dressy. Great for a wide range of environments. From windy but not cold days to really cold and rainy ones. Great purchase.

Sheds water really well, and is fairly warm with the fleece liner zipped in (i.e. could suffice for around freezing if wearing only a t-shirt underneath). My one gripe is that the included fleece lining does not play well with layers - if wearing an additional sweatshirt, it can be very frustrating to put this coat on while the fleece liner is zipped in, as the fleece tends to bind against any type of cloth. This turns out to be a major turn-off to using the fleece liner.

Lining poorly attached

Put jacket on, liner comes of the sleeves looking and feeling like mittens. It's attached, just poorly designed. Returning as a defective design.
