Works great for me...

Let me say this right off the bat - these waist belts will not help you lose fat, only water. The minute you come in from your workout and get a drink, you've just replenished what you lost. Spot fat reduction, other than through surgery, is a myth. However, I have used these belts for years to keep my back and core warm and tight. For this, they work great. I lift and don't want or need to use my weight belt unless I'm dead lifting - for most other exercises the belt gets in the way. That's not the case with this belt - it's very flexible and doesn't bother me when lifting. I know it's not the same (not support), but it helps stay limber. I'm getting up in age and anything that helps me stay limber is a good thing. My first test was this morning. It was 48 degrees in my garage and I lifted for an hour. Check out the last pic and see the sweat - it does work. One thing to note, I thought this belt was a little on the big side. I've 6'1" and 230lbs (with a Dad gut). This wrapped around my stomach and then some. I almost wonder if I should have went down a size. It still worked fine though, so I am happy.

Flexible and makes you sweat

If your goal is to sweat this belt will do the job. Don't expect any real weight loss or spot reduction in fat; it doesn't work that way; it just makes you sweat and lose water weight (great for meeting your weigh-in numbers, but you will get it all back with that first glass of water). The size seemed to allow for plenty of overlap and 10 inches covered enough of the belly area (note that the model in the pictures must be a tiny person to get that much torso coverage, your mileage will vary by your height). Overall, it meets the claims in the product list, keeping your midsection warm and promoting water loss through sweat. P-)

Great for Workouts

I added this to my workout to help me trim my midsection a bit more. It was uncomfortable at first but then I got used to wearing it. I do feel like I sweat a lot more but I can also see the difference in my waist from wearing the belt plus working out. I will continue to use this and would get it again.

Better than the competition!

Likely best in the business! I've been using the cheapy $5 ones from wallyworld for a long time, I've used several others out there too but none of them have performed better than the $5 cheapos, until now. The major problem with the others is the velcro attachment, as they attach top to bottom. Overtime that top to bottom attachment, as wide and as well as it attaches, ends up only having any sort of pressure at the top and the bottom. Everyone elses does this same thing! Except this one. ProsourceFIT has solved this issue with a velcro band that attaches in the middle, but is wide enough to still retain even pressure across the whole band! Brilliant design! This is also wider than the cheapies and results in more area being hot and a lot more comfort! I'm going to wear this every single night until it wears out, then I'm getting another one! Better than every other brand I've ever used and is likely the very best in the business!

Nice band

This sweatband is nice I feel like it's doing the job while I'm working out. I ordered a size medium, which is my usual size but this one seems to fit a little bigger. So maybe size down, when ordering. This sweatband is hand wash and hang dry so I would not recommend putting in the washing machine or the dryer it may cause defects with the band

Terrific coverage, fit, and it stays put!

I have used a waist belt for years now mainly to keep my back warm during training. This will not help your abs show, don't believe those false claims. This keeps the covered area warm and increases sweating. Great for cardio! Anyways, i've used a cheapo for a few years and it started ripping and not staying put. It would fold over or bunch up even when pulled tight. With this one, no need to pull it tight -- just snug will do. The coverage area is massive too so it covers my whole abs & lower back section easily! The real star here is the fact the velcro holds FIRM without giving in to bunching up or folding over. Really impressed and will absolutely get another once this one breaks in a few years!

LOOOOOVE IT!!

This is SUPER comfortable and it's easy to adjust! I recently had my gall bladder removed and I didn't even plan on this granting me support so I could walk/heal afterwards, but boy did it ever. I was glad to have this for a week while I was still sore from the laparoscopic removal. If it provided the support I needed to comfortably walk about, I'm sure that it'll do quite well in a pinch for an abdominal trainer as well - highly recommended.

Sturdy and stays in place

I wear this when I use my elliptical machine to help encourage my body's mid-section to sweat more. As the theory goes, this additional heat helps eliminate water weight. The neoprene fabric is elastic and allows me to wrap it around my waist tightly. The Velcro on the outside secures it in place nicely. I just wear this to increase the bloodflow and heat around my waist, but I could see this being used for medical purposes (if a doctor suggests it.) It is large enough to fit me (and I'm a pretty big guy) but it would wrap around a smaller person's waist as well. The materials and seams all seem to be of good quality. I figure this will last a long time. If you wash it, do *not* put it in the dryer!
