The square shape makes all the difference - good tool
I had one of the old round primer trays and used it for decades, but it wasn't big enough to fit some of the primer packaging. With the new square primer tray, the box of primers and plastic holder fits easily within the confines of the primer tray. It works well.

Does exactly what I need
It's big enough for the largest 100 primer packs, quickly flips the primers, and holds them in place when I flip it over to load my primer feeder tubes. It does everything I needed at a great price.

Works like a charm!
Starting out in reloading, I wanted the best tools and accessories for the job. After reading the various reviews, I opted for this particular primer tray. It is a simple design: Constructed of hard plastic, the bottom tray has grooves which allow the primers to sift into the rear side down. Gently sifting the primers, they will settle into the primer side position. Cover the tray, and flip it over carefully. Then your primer pick-up tool can collect the primers in the appropriate position for reloading. TIPS: If your sift too vigorously, the primers will fall out. The tray has to be level when GENTLY sifting. Ensure the cover is seated properly onto the tray, and carefully flip. It's not too fun searching for primers on the floor of the basement, looking for something the size of Mouse Poop.

Great tool for setting up primers
Perfect for sorting primers. I use the top portion of the tray set for loading the primer tube for my RCBS bench mounted priming device. The bottom flexes a bit too much for this but is perfect for flipping and setting up primers to load my handheld priming tool’s tray. Well worth the money.

I have no clue what primers are but this thing works like a charm for flipping flatback rhinestones. Best hack I ever stumbled on to. Cheap and works well.
