15 cm rolstoelremhendelverlengingen kunnen eenvoudig worden geïnstalleerd. Verwijder gewoon de bestaande rubberen knoppen op uw rolstoelremmen en schuif de verlengstukken op hun plaats. Met deze verlengstukken kunnen rolstoelgebruikers zelfstandig hun remmen vergrendelen. Deze verlengstukken voegen 15 cm toe aan de reeds bestaande rolstoelremmen, en afhankelijk van de oriëntatie van uw rolstoelrem kunnen deze verlengstukken extra breedte aan uw rolstoel toevoegen. Good for self breaking...

Makes it so much easier for my parent and the staff to set her break and bc easier makes everyone more compliant with that safety measure ... However... does make it hard to transfer from chair unless it is head on... any transfer to the side is impeded by the device... just fyi

Handy to have

I got one set of these for a relative's wheelchair and it made it easier to lock the wheel. I then ordered another set for someone else. I recommend.

Measure before you buy

I love these, but I did not think about how long 10 inches was. They are to long. My Mom is in a wheel chair and when I pull her up to the table, she can not put the breaks on because they hit the table. One that is shorter would probably work Great. They were easy to put on, they are cute just to long, MY Fault.

Loose

These are great and such a back saver for a caregiver to use. The only thing is all wheel chairs are different makes and models and I should have secured them with a little black electrical tape. Loaded the chair up one day and as I folded it one of the handles must have fell off. Now down to one but I would recommend them.

Best purchase and a big game changer!

Works perfectly for my 90-something mom!

Mom could not lock or unlock her wheelchair, something critical to her being to safely get in and out of it. She simply did not have the strength, and she has serious arthritis in her hands. These work GREAT! They were easy to put on, the big soft ball-shaped handle is easy on her hands, and the added length gives the leverage needed so she can now easily work the wheel locks. I highly recommend these if you are a senior or know one who is in a similar situation.

So easy to use!

Perfect for my wife’s wheelchair - they’re easy to remove to get through doorways. What’s really nice is how easy they are to apply/release them which is very important since my wife has such bad arthritis in her hands. So glad the words wheelchair brake extensions came to mind.

easy to use, but too long

They are a fine product, just too long for easy use. On the negative, They are well made, but way too long. They make it difficult to get in and out of rooms. On the positive, they make it easy to put the brakes on and take them off for my elderly mother. Definitely worth the price, but I wish they made 4 inch instead.
