Decent boot

Best sub 100$ boots I have ever owned. They feel like they are good quality and they are pretty comfortable. I have not submerged my whole foot but I have been out in 2 inches of water and my feet stayed dry. The leather is soft. Get the wide boot unless your foot is abnormally narrow. Fit was pretty accurate (maybe a little big).

Don't let that discourage you from purchasing These Fine boots. Just remember if you have white socks they are going to be brown until you get these broke in. So far I'm on my 5th day of wearing them. 8 hours on my feet the first two days straight with only about an hour rest for every 8 hour. Also would recommend if you have never wore a cowboy sort of boot like this to understand your calves are going to hurt you. The inner Souls on these are good enough for me but some of you may need a little more cushion therefore I would recommend go to the store, drug store shoe store whatever and get you some insoles. If you're looking for a good work boot you have found the place these are the best that I've had in a long time. I have always liked a pull on boot over a lace up boot.. Give them a try I think you'll like them.just remember they're going to be a little tight putting them on and off for a little while that will eventually go away. And you will also notice a little rub under your ankles that's the leather in the boot it will eventually soften up and you will not feel it. Enjoy people..

2 year review!!

I bought these for my husband in May 2021 because we bought our first house & knew he'd be getting dirty & walking through the creek a lot. They have definitely held up! He ALMOST made it to the 2 year mark. They are just now starting to split at the sole. He has walked through the creek, gotten them so dirty and wet, wears them every day in mud, digging holes and just working outside around our house in the woods...they have been ABUSED.. He says they're comfortable, true to size & definitely worth the money! I never leave a review years later but these are worth it. These pics are the boots today.

Spent a long time looking

I look high and low for a pair of slip-on (cowboy-like) work boots. These arent perfect but they are the best I found. My main criteria were that they be comfortable as I have an issue with my L foot where I have to have a fairly soft liner and/or be able to have room to insert my own 3/4 orthotic. It also has to have a fairly stiff sole that gives alot of stability. Finally it needs to be rugged. These Rocky boots meet all that. Two things I’m not crazy about: its quite a jam to get my foot in, and the uppers -while seemingly good quality leather- are super soft and provide next to NO ankle support: it will be nearly as easy to twist your ankle wearing these boots as if you were in low-top athletic shoes. I think the jam-at-entry will loosen up over time so Im gonna keep em. These are gonna be my round the “farm” chore boots for when I will be going in-out of the house alot. Lace up boots will always be superior to cowboy-type boots, but this lazy guy hates to lace up 10X a day workin around the house.

Comfortable Boots

I've worn 10-10.5 (us) sized shoes most of my life. When I ordered my size 10.5 they were way too big. I down sized to a 9.5 and they fit well to wear with a thick sock. They seem well made. Fast shipping.

I ordered my usual 11 size and it was tight. Sent back and got an 11.5 and fit was perfect.

I like a Wellington boot for summer, and I traditionally buy Red Wing American made Wellingtons even though the price is over twice that of these Rocky's . This time I went cheap, and this time it worked. These are pretty good boots, and a real value at 99.99. I did have to get a half size larger than what I normally do to get a good fit. They are good for walking. I don't think I would use them for horseback riding with a saddle as the sole is not made for a stirrup even though the literature implied to me that they are suitable. Maybe just me, but I assure you, you only need to get a boot caught in a stirrup once. Then you start paying attention to your footwear before you mount. But for a comfortable walking boot they are a real bargain.

good work/everyday boots. unlined w/ removable insole (which seems surprisingly sturdy); no break-in required far as i can tell. "trail brown" is actually a dark chocolate brown, not quite the color in the product picture, but fine by me.

Best bang for the buck Boots

They'll age well. All leather inside and out and will last 10+ years with good upkeep.
