Decent value for the money

This was pretty easy to put together, but I like to build stuff. It is a good value for the money, don’t expect a big heavy duty grill, but for the price it is pretty good. I’ve used it a few times, and plan to use the smoker side soon, I will update my review when I do.

Big Boy Grill

After years of apartment living and having to use a electric grill, I’m happy to finally be able to go back to charcoal. This grill was easy to assemble, with very clear and direct instructions. Parts are labeled correctly which also made it easy to put together, took me about 15-20 minutes. The cover that comes with it is thick and heavy grade, seem pretty durable. Lid is not air tight so some heat will escape but not enough to hurt the cooking process. Used it once in the 3 weeks I’ve had it & plan to use quite frequently.

Good product for the mney

Got this for my husband and he really likes it. You can definitely put it together by yourself, but it does help to have another person when attaching the lid. Holds temperatures very well and we haven't had any issues with it so far. The cover it comes with is also very helpful to keep it protected.

Cheap Chinese BBQ

it works fine as a grill but if you get it too hot you'll cook the paint right off of it. Assembly is moderately difficult and the instructions are not very clear at times. I had to disassemble and reassemble some parts because the directions weren't clear on the details.

Smoker box side door does not fit as directed

According to the assembly directions the side door to the smoker box, is supposed to attach to the smoker box on the outside and open outwards... But I suspect it was designed to be mounted on the inside of the smoker box and open inwards. Although I did not try to attach the smoker door that way, I do believe that's how this is supposed to go on to the smoker box and probably is supposed to open inward as it does not properly fit when mounted outside as directed by the assembly directions. Also the grill cover that came with this is more of a universal grill cover and although the fabric is very thick and it seems heavy duty there is not a snug fit because there's not a pocket for the chimney. Aside from these issues and the lack of sturdiness of this grill after it's put together, it did grill very well. The distributor of this grill should be putting at least one of them together themselves to make sure that the directions for assembly are sufficient before distributing a product that is faulty based on faulty assembly directions or faulty manufacturing.

Damaged parts

Lots of damaged parts. Not that it hurt the way it cooked. Overall it worked good for the money.
