Good quality
These are good quality stainless steel little bowls, that can be used for food prep or to hold seasoning and such. Thick and heavy stainless steel, easy to clean and stackable. The lids sit nicely, but are not secured in place or stackable.

Great for so many uses and reasons
These bowls are just the right size for taco night prep, for baking prep, for cooking prep. The lids are super easy to put on and they stack. The stainless is heavy duty.

Buy this for the bowls, not the lids
When I unpacked the bowls from the box, I was impressed at how heavy they were. The stainless steel is very thick. I didn't try it, but I felt like I could probably set one upside-down on the floor and stand on it. Then I unpacked the lids and... oh dear. They were warped and wouldn't sit flat on the bowls. There was also a bit of side-to-side slop in the fit. If you're looking for a tight seal on a stainless bowl, this isn't it. About all these lids are good for is to keep the flies out of your prepped ingredients when they're sitting out on the counter. They won't keep moisture in, and if the bowls are tipped at all, the lids fall right off. I certainly wouldn't store leftovers in them, or anything that needs an airtight seal. As I said, the bowls themselves are very, very nice, and if that's all this was, it'd be a 5-star product. They're small, about 2 inches high and 5 3/16 inches wide at the rim, with the inside of the bowl being about 4 1/16 inches at its widest. The rim and outside top portion of the bowl are polished and shiny, while the inside and lower outside of the bowl have a brushed finish. They are some of the nicest bowls I have seen. But if you're at this listing, chances are you need functional lids. I bought these to put leftover canned cat food in the fridge between feedings. They are just the right size to hold a 5.5 oz. can of cat food, but these awful lids will let the food dry right out. Instead, we found a glass bowl with a sort of stiff silicone lid that seals great at the grocery store, and that's the lid material these stainless bowls should really have. These lids are a stiff plastic that can flex a bit, but it always returns to the warped shape it arrived in. They're thick and could be nice if they were flat and sized just a tad larger to fit tightly inside the bowl, but they're not. Three of the four lids also have some sort of discoloration molded into them that makes them always look like they have a dirty spot. They're just... bad. It's worth noting that you'll need a bit of space to store these. The bowls don't fully nest and the lids don't nest at all. It's not a big deal since they're small bowls, just something to keep in mind when you're thinking about where you'll keep them. I'm sure we'll find uses for the excellent bowls, but I was looking for bowls with lids that sealed and was disappointed.

Great for 2 kg of molten bismuth
I should start by saying I'm not using these for the intended purpose. I bought 2 kilos of bismuth for growing bismuth crystals and needed a stainless steel bowl just big enough to hold 200 mL of molten bismuth. This was the only set I could find small enough for 200 mL with the spherical shape best for crystal growing and it works wonderfully. Holds up to hammering out solidified bismuth with just a few dents, much sturdier than I expected out of a prep bowl. I was initially disappointed that they're sold in sets of 4 but the extras have been great for holding slag and cooling crystals.
