Functional and light; not meant for road warriors

Bag is super light and looks great. For the occasional traveler, this bag will serve you well and is worth the price. This bag will also serve you well on international flights that severely limit the size and weight of carry-on bags. I've logged 3 cross country trips in one month and find the quality to be decent. The inner lining, straps on each half, and the separator are very well done with good quality construction. The release button on the handle has a full rubber cover; thus, dust will not likely cause issues with the button operation. The issue: single wheel per corner will not likely survive too many trips. The wheels are rather slim and will catch into the expansion joints in concrete as well fall into minor pock marks on other surfaces and cause the bag to suddenly jerk you back. Further, the wheels do not roll smooth on low pile carpets and the casters do not respond quick enough to allow for rapid direction changes. Other things to consider: The zipper pull locks are rather weak and will likely break in time. I do, however, like the lock's ability to keep the zipper handle in place in a tidy manner. I wouldn't trust the lock to keep anyone out...not a problem for me as I rarely check my bags in the belly of the plane. The handle will twist rather easily; thus, you won't always have postive control over the motion of the bag. Then again, this bag is meant to be as light as possible and yet still functional. Good for price

I’ve used it three times and so far it’s holding up. Admittedly I overstuffed and didn’t want to use the extend zip so the zipper struggled. Once I extended it was fine. It’s a little heavier than my last but still good.

Excellent piece. A little wobbly when overloaded.

I did a 10 day 5 flight trip with only this carryon and a personal item (weekender bag) that i secured to the handle of this piece with a strap. I really pushed its limits. Wish i had chosen double wheels. The handle was a little wobbly. However, this bag performed beautifully overall and Im very happy to take it on my next adventure. The compression and expansion zipper was handier than expected too. Maybe I wont burden it so much next time and the wobble prob wont be noticeable.

Great for occasional, but not for frequent, travel

I think the Samsonite Winfield 3 DLX luggage are nice. It has a TSA lock that made it easy for me to lock and secure my belongings while on the go. The high-quality zippers are quite impressive, and I appreciated the smoothness of the wheels. On a high level review, the luggage has a pleasing aesthetic that I find visually appealing, and would recommend them to anyone that is traveling once or twice a year. However, I must also report that after only three round trip flights for work, the hardside polycarbonate shell of the luggage cracked. Still usable with some duct tape, but this is a significant durability issue in my opinion and the manufacturer should address. The warranty sadly doesn’t cover this type of damage from what I read, and sadly I didn’t detect it until I had already left the airport so the airline would not cover the damage as there wasn’t any proof that it occurred while in their care. As I travel for business monthly, I have had to purchase another suitcase as I can’t risk getting to my destination to find out my belongings didn’t survive the trip. Overall, I believe the Samsonite Winfield 3 DLX luggage has some great features that make it a reliable travel companion for occasional use, but the issue of long term durability should be taken into account before purchasing.

Perfecta

Es todo lo que necesitaba! Me voy de viaje 15 días y no tenía maleta, qué mejor que una de buen tamaño y buena marca. Se ve bastante resistente. Las llantas muy suaves y muy espaciosa! Aparte de que tiene cierre para hacerla más ancha. El candado de combinación es fácil de cambiar y de usar. Amé el color!

Super belle , bonne qualités, mais tous dépend se que l on fais et besoin e nos bagages à vous de voir si cela vaux la peine de payer plus cher , en plus n est pas arrives à la date précise....trop tard j étais déjà partie en vacances lol alors pensez a quelques semaines pour le recevoir et ça tout dépends de votre livreur .....poste canada trop long , mais c est comme ça

Espaciosa y muy ligera

He realizado un solo viaje con ella y me gusto mucho porque cabe todo perfecto para un viaje de una semana: ropa, zapatos, cepillos, cremas y cosmeticos, etc. y comparada con mi anterior maleta la misma carga el peso total es como 7 kilos menos, con la maleta anterior tenia un peso normalmente de 23 Kg y con esta nueva (Winfield) aprox 16 Kg, pude rodarla perfecto en diferentes superficies: piso liso, pavimento liso y rugoso, terreno plano o inclinado.

Hermoso color y fácil de rodar

Me encantó el color y que Amazon vende un paquete de tres maletas por un súper precio me costaron me los de menos de 6000 mxn. Se deslizan fácil aunque la maleta esté cargada y muy resistentes pero ligeras. Recomendaría comprar después una protección para evitar que se rayen en el aeropuerto.
