Does it's job

Thinner than I hoped, but it works. I'm turning acrylic paint into fabric paint. So far, so good.

Does not dry perfectly clear!

This is a well priced item and worked perfectly well for thinning thick paints & adhering collage papers. However I decided to use it to homogenize the gloss on a finished piece (a tryptic!) and it was awful. Although it was definitely matte, it was not clear! The piece dried with a dull haze, not what I needed. I did rescue the piece with a few thin layers of gloss medium, not the look that I was going for but more satisfactory than hazy/matte.

Need to be careful with application

If you get this even a hair too thick it will go semi-opaque and milky. I had wanted to use it as a layer over thin skins of acrylic color--no go.

Otherwise its great!

Mine arrived with a broken top, which is the only reason for a four star review. Since I needed it for class, I really didn't have the time to return it. Otherwise its great!

Leaves a Chalky Haze!!!

This is, by far, the worst product I have ever purchased! I purchased on a whim because I was quickly running out of gel medium and I ordered without really looking at reviews or doing research. I can honestly say that I cannot dislike this enough. I used it to glue in very nice papers into a home made journal. The product leaves a chalky white film over my papers. I am soooo disappointed and wish that I could return it but I ended up pouring it into another jar thus ruining any possibility of returning it for my money back. :( :( :(

Good quality and a good price

This can be streaky if you apply a layer that is too thick, but otherwise it does an excellent job at sealing my artwork and the matte finish is nice.

Finally, I'm able to make my tissue paper lanterns waterproof.

Waterproofing my tissue paper lanterns is now a thing. Prior to using this product, it wasn't.

Not worth it

Came back to review this to warn people, this stuff is in fact garbage. I used it again to test it out and it 100% leaves a white and very noticeable film over what it's laid on. If you use this for kids crafts, it won't be a problem, but it's not a good cheap solution for any real artwork.

Usage Information misleading

Purchased as the online description indicates that product can be used as a final protective coating. When I received the product and read the label it says NOT to use as a final coat on artwork.
