No more litter on the back and sides
The media could not be loaded. I really like this I was alittle apprehensive on buying it because of the price and the fact that it doesn't actually snap on to the litter box. I'm glad I did because I have 3 cats and one of them feels the need to throw out the litter like crazy.

Good attachment
It works as described. There is less litter being scattered on the floor now, and it's sturdy enough that the cats can sit on the top of it without it denting inwards.

Easy upgrades
I really appreciate this product, we have 4 cats and if the litter isn’t cleared, one won’t even consider using it… I made a couple upgrades, which honestly I’m surprised aren’t part of the original design. The privacy cover falls off center regularly and the cats can’t in to use, but maybe my cats are just more mobile during their bathroom time, so I just added a couple pins to the cover (one on each side) and put a corresponding hole In the base. Problem solved. Also we went with the reusable tray for cost reasons, which comes with a plastic magnetic bar attachment that replaces the flip up lid on the disposable trey. The bar piece kept coming off which made the whole unit not work. So I drilled a couple holes in the bar and the poop cover compartment and put in a couple rivets. My only final issue is the smell (again I have 4 cats) which is greatly reduced since the poop is enclosed but, to minImize it I skim out the poop compartment midweek once a week and dump the entire units every weekend. Overall I value not having to look at poop every day and feel the units now work great and I really appreciate having them.

Solid
I was disappointed at having to pay $35 to get a cover for my new cat's litter box, but was pleasantly surprised when I opened the humongous cardboard shipping box and pulled this out. It is heavy and seems to be excellent quality. Turns out my ScoopFree doesn't have the notches that this is supposed to fit into, but it does still kind of pop into place. If your cat goes wild in the litter box or likes to jump on top of something, the lack of those clips could be a problem, but it seems to be working well for my little guy.

Limiting the mess
When I first got my cat I went through 2 different litter boxes, non automatic and automatic. I’ve never had a cat before and I didn’t realize how much of a mess they made when going potty. So when I had bought the automatic one without the cover, my cat would fling the litter everywhere. I needed a cover asap because stepping on litter hurt. The cover is amazing keeps everything intact, easy to take off and on! It doesn’t keep the smell away so I had to buy a charcoal freshener to stick on the cover.

Could be better
It sits on top of the litter box just fine but I was hoping it would be a little more secure or attached.

Expensive, but necessary
Wasn't sure if we needed it when buying the litter box originally. Sure enough, this really helps to limit the mess from our cat. If you have this litter box, just go ahead and buy this hood as well.
