Know What You're Buying
This bulb DOES work, but I assumed it was the same as the Sengled bulb I got with an Echo Dot earlier this year, and despite the package being nearly identical, it was not the same bulb. That bulb REQUIRED the Alexa app, but no other app, which is what I was going for as I didn't want to have to download yet another app. This bulb did require the Sengled app, which was easy enough the link with Alexa, and has some neat features like the "Effects" options which let me do a cool Halloween effect. Installation had a brief hiccup, as the bulb requires a 2.4 network. My wifi setup provided by my internet provider, Spectrum, supposedly detects the required network automatically, yet this bulb didn't find the 2.4 on the first couple tries. Eventually it did and has been working. I understand that may have been a Spectrum issue and not an issue with the bulb, though most of my "smart" products have connected flawlessly.

Software interface is better than most. Wi-Fi connection drops if bulb not close to router.
I have a cupola over my detached garage with a light I was trying to colorize via smart bulb. The wireless signal looks strong on my phone and the bulb setup worked fine at that distance from the router, but after a couple of days, the bulb disconnected from the router and would not reconnect without me resetting the bulb via the manual wall switch in the garage (flick it on and off 5 times to get it to reset). After a few days of this, I tried a different bulb from the same package, but I had the same issue. So I gave up and went with a timer wall switch and a Hue's bulb that retains its color setting after power is disconnected by the timer wall switch. (Sengled bulb will lose its color setting if power is lost.) I do like the Sengled software interface, though, and the bulbs are nice and bright and the colors work great; thus, the 4 stars.

Bang for Buck
Wish it was a tad brighter on some colors but for the price and how intuitively it is to setup, it’s hard to beat. I have 2 now and am thinking about a 3rd. Totally recommend.

Work great and really cheap
They're bright. They light up. They turn off... They change colors. They work with my samsung smart things and google home setup. Not much else to say. They do the job and they don't feel like an overpriced money sink.

Trouble with wifi

So the wifi version is alot easier to install than the Bluetooth one.
I bought this one after buying their bluetooth version and could not get that one to work. This wifi one was not the easiest to instal to my rougher, but with some time and patience I got it to work. Only wish the app would just stay connected at all times for easier use on my phone. When you turn the light off and back on it stays at the same setting as last too. So if it's dimmed or colored, it's the same till you adjust on app.

Work great easy to setup
I have several of these at multiple house both with and without a hub. Easy to setup and use. Conveniently setup on its own wifi, set a light schedule and they do their own thing. The Google home add on forces you to sync your accounts which annoying, but I recommend using the Sengled home up. Better than the original version and had everything you need for lights in all your rooms. I would recommend this product

Integration can be a hit n miss.
Everything works when it wants to work! If you want it to work seamlessly without Alexa, you'll need the Sengled app (Yes, one more app to install for you!). However, nothing wrong with the brightness, and performance. No flicker when using a smart switch. We're using two bulbs in a ceiling fan it makes the whole room as bright as it can be.

Couldn't get them hooked up!
Received a single bulb with the echo and worked like a charm! I bought a pack of 2 and can't get them to sync with the Singled app....wasted so much time...hours trying.

Excellent brightness and easy to set up
I tried the earlier version of these which are 60w and have transitioned smoothly to the dual band functionality of my wifi. Iove how they are regular shape bulbs and synced up right away to wifi and to google home. Also as easy to remove, reset or make any changes. Auto upgraded the firmware as soon as installed, nothing bad to say about them!
