Worth every penny!

There are so many metal dies on the market right now which can make it difficult to narrow your choices down. This is the third or fourth pack of Sizzix and Tim Holtz dies I’ve purchased. They work better than other “thin” dies I’ve bought, and I love Tim’s designs. These dies in particular are very easy to release and Tim includes multiple sizes and shapes of common fall leaves. The price is well worth it given the quality of the dies, and the assortment of dies included in one package.

especially love the oak leaves

Cut great on first pass straight out of the package. (if you are having trouble with getting a good cut, try using new plates). The only thing I think would improve these is if the different sizes of the leaves were also different outlines- the smaller and larger sizes are identical shapes of the same leaf (at least in the cas of the oak leaves). These release the cut paper wonderfully because of the vein line down the center.

Lovely, true to life shapes

These dies were truly beautiful when cut! Their design is so true to life shapes. However, even though each leaf comes in 3 sizes, the sizes were: tiny, mini, and medium. Left me wishing for some larger sizes, even though the small ones still have their place for use in my card-making arsenal. Sizzix, I am really wishing for a 1.5"x1.5" and 2.5"x2.5" maple leaf....no one else can produce the shapes like you (I just need them larger than these little ones).

Finally got to use these leaves.

I have had these dies for several weeks, but had not had opportunity to use them yet. This evening I finally had time. There are three of each variety in the package. Be careful, the small leaves are super small. Big tips that really work: ~~ Make sure your cutting pads are perfectly flat when making the "sandwich". ~~ Cut a wedge of your paper to simply fit your die -- leaving 1/2-3/4 inch overlap. ~~ Space out and stagger the dies with their wedges of paper approximately 2 inches apart the whole way around from all the others. I highly recommend watching all the Sizzix training videos that are out there on YouTube.

Realistic Fall Leaves

I was glad that I spent a little more on this set as compared to others because the variety is so good and it is all so realistic. I know that I will be using it for many years to come.

Might have been already used

The picture does not show the real items. The manufacturer might have changed also the picture should change. It wasn’t wrapped as new, like opened at some point. The dies, one seemed used too with paper stock in it........ I have bought several of these and no one single one came like that ..... Amazon offered one day delivery and it was late by 12 hours. That was amazon.

Great for fall leaves on cards and layouts

This a great set of fall leaf dies. It cuts nice in my Gemini Jr. I am so happy I finally got this set of leaves to add to my die collection.

More great stuff by Tim Holtz.

These dies give a very realistic effect and they cut out perfectly every time.I coloured mine with distress inks using autumnal colours then used a glossy glaze on some. I am thoroughly enjoying experimenting with them. I think I may try using some foil type paper then stain with alcohol inks. Yes i definitely recommend them.
