Boots are separating from the soles

Good shoe

I actually had the opportunity to try this shoe on at a Sketchers Outlet in Pidgeon Forge TN . They wanted $20 more tan the Amazon price and I gave them the chance to match the price, but they were having a "Buy one at full price, get the second for 50% off sale and wouldn't match the price. The guy at the Outlet was very nice and said "you should get that at Amazon, I can't match it". The best part is that they come in a "wide" in my size. When I got them, they were comfortable and looked great. I use them as a "nice" pair of boots. Not for work, they don't have a composite toe, but look great. Frankly, I wear mostly Carthart and Deluth Clothes, and those brands look better with boots rather than sneakers. However, the quality is enough that you could wear them to work.. but they look too nice to ruin them. Full leather, nicely brushed, good color, will eventually developed a nice patina. Great for the working man who wants to look nice on a date, but is more comfortable in boots than sneakers. Sketchers is easily the most underrated shoe in the industry. I would rather wear Sketchers than Timberlands at twice the price. I just got them, so my review is about the new shoes.I don't much care for shoes that need to be "broken in" Look for other reviews as to how well they wear over time.

Not wide enough to keep

These are nice looking boots, but the fit was to small for my foot, so I could not keep them, and didn't really get to wear them other than to try them on.

Very Nice Sturdy boot

This boot is very sturdy and definitely more of a WORK boot than a fashion boot. They come stiff (as they should) so be ready to wear them for several hours over several days to break them in before using them for work or general wear. Then seem like they are made to last and the tread is very aggressive. I purchased them for the days here in the North East when we get 4 or 5 inches of snow. So it's enough to have to shovel or blow but not really requiring a higher more bulky winter boot that is difficult to drive in. These will be PERFECT for that since they are water proof. An added benefit is they look great too! If you are like me and have a wide foot get the extra wide. I did that and have plenty of support and room for a pair of heavy socks. I have just broken them in and at this point I HIGHLY recommend them, if you're on the fence jump off and order them!

A terrific pair of boots.

Skechers men's boot- I bought a pair of these when I first started at my job, and they lasted a year- honestly the other ones are OK but there's a small tear in the back heel which I'll likely patch up and use for hiking, but the shoes actual shape is awesome. The memory foam insolenis trash, because after a week of 12 hour shifts, you've sunk into it, but a 10 dollar paid of Dr scholl's gel insoles and it's a non issue. Skechers is the single best pair of shoes I've had in a long time. I only wish the offered it in steel toe in this type of boot. I'd pick this over red wing, catepillar- any of them. A terrific pair of boots, comfortable.

Solid, but stiff, just need to break in

Caveat: I find that Skechers' quality varies greatly between styles and over time, so this review might not apply for long... I'm a long-time fan of Skecher's sneakers and frequently recommend them to friends and family. I purchased a pair of these boots Size 12 EW in dark brown - the same size I've trusted in Skechers for years. The boots look nice and feel solid - I hope they'll last a few years. When I first tried on the boots I noticed that they were a bit tight in the toebox - not in width, but in length, strange becuse, as I said, I wear size 12 EW Skechers sneakers every day. The boots are very stiff because they're new, but they're not too heavy, so my first day wearing them was OK. After a few hours I noticed that the "scree collar" (the padded insulation around the top of the boot near the Achille's tendon) was in fact scraping my Achille's tendon. It's very uncomfortable, so I recommend that you wear a Bandaid on your Achille's tendon until the boots break in - this will prevent injury to your skin... Overall: recommended, and I might added another star in a few weeks, when the boots are less stiff and my skin heals.

Fits as expected. I'm happy lol!

So while I dont wear these boots EVERYDAY. I work in the restaurant industry, so its non slips and tennis shoes more than not. But on my off days, I'm placing up these boots. Love the color, they fit as I'd expect for my gorilla feet. I only have 2 suggestions for future reference. Find some nice insoles because they seem just okay at best. And I wish I woulda pre-treated them beforehand. The scuff and discolor pretty quick and easy. (Even though I wear them as you should without a care, I woulda liked to keep them looking semi clean and fresh for a tad bit longer haha) Overall, I'm pretty happy and not mad. I'd buy em again for sure considering how hard it is to find shoes/boots in my size

Fit well but insoles glued

The boots fit well, but beware if you’ve got custom insoles. The original ones are glued in. Even with a heat gun they were a pain to remove.
