So far so good, Like the style and comfort. Hope they hold up for my daily walking and workouts.

I always buy Dr. Shoals heel supports, for extra comfort/padding, when I purchase any new shoes.
I really like this athletic shoe. I'm on my third pair. One pair was ruined well walking through some minor flooding in our underground garage.

Super comfortable.
I rarely find anything that fits this well. They are just the right width and very comfortable. Time will tell how long they last, but as long as they last, my neuropathy will be less if an isssue.

Good soles for road walking
I do most of my walking on pavement within our subdivision. In the past year, I've gone through two pairs of rather expensive New Balance walking shoes that wore out prematurely from daily walking of about 5 miles. I ordered another pair of New Balance and was very disappointed to find flimsy foam soles on their newer walking shoes. Those would disintegrate within a week. I've also had to add gel insoles to my New Balance in order to even be comfortable. This pair of Skechers have fantastic GoodYear rubber soles that should stand up to walking on pavement. I broke them in yesterday on a 2 mile walk and they're reasonably comfortable. I don't feel like I need different insoles this time. The memory foam that comes with them seems good. After about an hour of walking, they broke in nicely but probably still have another hour or so to go before they completely soften up. They fit perfectly, with about a half inch of gap between end of big toe and front of shoe. I'm satisfied with these over the more expensive New Balance options, which have gone downhill significantly in recent years. Skechers it is from now on.

MY BEST SHOES EVER!
These are my third pair of Skechers Oak Canyon. I am 80 years old and all my life have struggled to find wide fitting shoes for my wide feet. The extra wide fitting are ideal and have a roomy toe box. The soles are also very wide which makes for good stability on uneven ground. My FitBit usually records about 8000 steps a day, mainly on hard surfaces. The soles wear very well - see the photo of the new shoes and pairs one year and two years old. In the oldest, the cloth lining has just started to wear. My only concern is that in these latest shoes the insole is a lot narrower than the interior of the shoe. Perhaps the insoles will spread out. I had problems finding size 11.5 X-wide - hopefully they will continue to be available. Fast deliver from USA to NZ.

Extremely comfortable shoe
I am a New Balance aficionado. My first pair of "new" world sneakers was a pair of NB 608's back in 1994. I was having trouble with my feet as I was getting older and NOTHING was comfortable. I slipped into those 608's and I thought I was in heaven. But, New Balance, like all companies, eventually sacrificed quality for profit. I began looking at other producers who offered 11.5 EEEE sized shoes. I tried the very few other offerings. Not too many companies, besides NB / Dunham, produce the wider shoes in bulk. I tried a pair of Skecher house shoes in my size. They were okay. Then another, and they too were okay. I tried another pair of a different "model" Skecher and they were hard as rocks. But then I stumbled onto these Oka Canyon Oxfords at the Amazon Christmas Sales. They were on sale for $19.00 so I tried a pair. They are LITERALLY the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on. The new insert system that Skechers is developing is really incredible (IN THIS MODEL SHOE, anyway). Like Linda Richman, from Coffee Talk used to say (back when Saturday Night Live was still funny), "It's like buttah." Even now the price is back at normal after the sales, I'm going to try another pair to see if they are as comfortable. If they are, I will protect these two pairs of shoes so they are still in good shape 10 years from now. I don't know it is an anomaly on the original pair or if the comfort is standard - but these shoes are incredibly comfortable. When I get the other pair, I will update this review. Great shoes - get 'em - try 'em.

Nice look
The reason that I wear Skechers is that they offer an X-wide width. I need X-wide (6-ee) in size 12. I really like the look of this Oak Canyon. Skechers have been the only company which offers the X-wide for many years. They have added memory foam to the soles in these shoes. It does not fit completely from one side to the other, there is a thin gap at the edges. I am still trying to decide about the comfort for long periods of time with this gap. This is the reason for the 4 stars rather than five. It almost seems that they are using a wide sole on the inside of a X-wide shoe. So far it feels fine.

Amazon delivered wrong size.
They look nice. Can't tell you if they're comfortable because Amazon messed up again. Returned.

Too narrow in the toe area
Very nice shoes, good quality. I ordered them etra wide, and unfortunately this did not include the toe bed. They fit great for the rest of the foot, bot the toe area narrows too harshly and squishes them together, which was exactly what I was hoping to avoid by ordering extra wide. Still a great shoe, just not great for me, or thise with a wide toe area.

Light and really comfortable - Not that durable
I'm a postman and fancied buying something nice to use while at work. Footwear is obviously the most important part of my gear, walking about ten miles a day over varying terrains. We have options supplied from the company, and they're great - I happily use them - but they're generally more heavy duty and don't look as nice. I grabbed a pair of these as they look alright, had decent reviews and Skechers are considered good amongst posties. I've had these about a year and as a professional walker my opinion is that: They're really comfortable and really light. I switched back to my standard work shoes for a while and just put these back on for the summer - it's like wearing slippers by comparison. Lots of spring in the soles. So yeah - really soft inner, really light, really comfy more or less out of the box. They look nice but are maybe a bit wider than you'd expect. A touch wide in the shoe, but the width comes from the sole. Although that helps with stability. Quite a high heel too, but you need the depth when you're walking and it's all quite soft and springy. I bought them last winter and if I remember they held up alright in the rain but don't expect much on icy pavements. I switched them out for something with more grip, which brings me to my only real fault with them, which is... The soles just aren't durable. I burnt through the bulk of the tread really quickly as they're so soft. Something like within a couple of months I switched back to more hard wearing shoes from work just to preserve some life in them. That being said it's now summer, my current round is all pavement and I've put them back on and they're lovely. Bear in mind I'm using these every day for hours, walking at pace, non-stop with extra weight on my back so it's a bit of an extreme test I suppose. If you're gonna go for a walk here and there they'd be a bit more durable, no doubt. So yeah, like I say - really comfortable, really light, barely notice you're wearing them, don't think they took much breaking in, material has held up and I've had no issues in rain. Laces are still good, inner sole is still soft (although the memory foam loses maybe 20% of it's springiness fairly early on), good enough for me to be using at work again daily and being impressed with how they feel. Just don't expect the really soft sole to last a long time.
