Total crap & probably NOT REAL Sketchers! Disappointed!!

The media could not be loaded. Just got these about 45 minutes ago, I was so excited, but now, I’m just totally disappointed and angry that someone is selling such crap, wasting both my time & money!! So I rushed to post this to help other prospective buyers. I’m only giving a single star because they are super adorable looking, but that’s about all there is good to say about these!! I’m all but positive that these are fakes!!! I have never purchased these or any sketchers before this, so no I don’t have anything to compare these to from this line made by Sketchers. But for such a well known brand name, I just cannot imagine they would make such an awful product!! The shoes are very firm, the toe box is completely hard, they don’t have much bend or give in the opening of the shoe & are tight, the soles are a total slipping hazard as there is no tread or grip on them, and they are straight up made of foam, yes, that’s right, the whole bottom of the shoes are just foam, & you can see in my video review how I can push it in with my nail. If these aren’t fakes, then seriously, shame on Sketchers for selling such useless, uncomfortable, & unsafe sneakers!!! I barely got one sneaker on my almost 2 year old daughter’s foot before she whined “no, off” & I took it off & she wouldn’t even let me try & put the other one on, which this is not at all normal for her to do. I said “should I send them back?” & she said “back” & then she started putting them back in their box. So that was very clear that she didn’t find them comfortable & even the lights weren’t enough for her to want to wear them. Definitely returning for a refund!!! Buyers beware!!!

We had high hopes!

I’m writing a review in hopes that someone from the company will contact us and offer a replacement... My daughter picked these shoes out and we were so excited to get them. They especially worked when our power went out at home. However, only one shoe lights up. We just got these and she wore them for maybe 20 minutes, mostly sitting down. For what we paid, it’s totally unacceptable...especially since she will grow out of them in about 4 months. So disappointed. EDIT- I was totally mistaken with my original review. There is an on off switch on the side of the back of the shoe. The switch was off, I only had to press it once and the shoe lit up. Such a great feature! Definitely 5 stars!

It has an On/Off button!

This is the second pair of these shoes that we've purchased. They must have upgraded the shoe since we bought the first pair, because this new second pair has an on/off button which is great if/when a kid may be in class and needs to turn them off during learning time, but they can turn them back on for fun on the playground. These are my daughter's favorite shoes! Fits true to size.

These sneaks run a bit small

My 5 year old daughter loved the design of the sneaker and the glittery lights. However, she is usually a size 10 in almost all shoes/sneakers. I ordered these in her usual size 10 and they are a bit tight. I would recommend sizing up for anyone interested in purchasing these.

I bought these shoes for my 3 year old daughter and she loves them. They look like the pictures shown in the description and the toes light up. They look cute with jeans and shorts (with or without socks). The first time she wore them we went to the zoo and walked quite a bit, but she never complained about them being uncomfortable.

Good for a while

My daughter loved these, but she seems to be hard on her shoes. The velcro only lasted about 2 months before we had to replace the shoes because they wouldn't stay on her feet.

Neu und blinken nicht!

Habe die Schuhe vor 2 Monaten gekauft weil sie im Angebot waren und meine Maus zurzeit im Einhornfieber ist, blinkten auch beim auspacken und anprobieren. Waren aber noch etwas zu groß, darum wurden sie im Schrank verstaut. Heute haben wir sie wieder hervor geholt um sie nochmals anzuprobieren und keiner der beiden Schuhe leuchtet mehr, obwohl noch nie damit gegangen wurde! Meine Tochter ist sehr traurig und mich ärgert es! Haben schon viele Skechers Blinkschuhe gehabt, die alle bis zum Schluss leuchteten. Ich bitte höflichst um einen Umtausch.

Qualité médiocre

À peine reçues et déjà déçue! L’interrupteur qui allume la chaussure est trop difficile à allumer pour une enfant de plus il se sent quand la chaussure est portée ce qui est désagréable. La semelle est en mousse et semble vraiment fragile, à mon avis une balade dans les chemins de cailloux et elle sera déjà abîmée. Les petites lumières ne s’allument pas toutes sur la chaussure gauche. Bref de jolies chaussures mais vraiment une piètre qualité.
