Fair So Far

Update April 14, 2023 - I contacted the seller through Amazon, explained the mix-up and gave them an ultimatum - either pay to have these two chairs shipped back and send me the correct chairs, or refund me the difference in price. Mind you, refunding me the difference does not make me whole as I wanted the larger size, but I know they won't want to spend the money for shipping these back and shipping me the correct ones, so I figured I'd have issues swinging that. Sure enough, they opted to refund me the difference. Today, I received that refund, so they did the right thing. There are other posts, here with the same mixup, but no details about any fixes. If you order the XL size, make sure to check the size when you get it. If I hadn't, I would have overpaid and never knew it. The chair itself seems fine so far with some very minor issues. If I have any significant issues with the quality in the next two years, I will definitely update this post. April 11, 2023 - I'm Asian and I am appalled at the quality control of the Chinese. Embarassed!!! I ordered this XL size and what I got, based on measurements, was their standard size Splendor zeto-gravity chair which sells for $99. Albeit, I just got this delivered today, so I can't yet attest to the quality of the build, but I can already see some faulty workmanship. A couple of the rivets are loose and jangle from side to side. I have posted pictures of some rivets of both chair arms from the inside view. The rivet on the right arm shows the smooth rivet head while the other arm show the indented tail end of a rivet. The rivet direction don't mirror each other as they should. This shows lack of attention to detail. I have read other comments here regarding the bait and switch on the size, but I believed it was an honest mistake, but now I'm not so sure. They're either sloppy or shady. Don't buy from these guys!!!

Not "oversized" - bad dimensions

A decent chair but shame on them for lying about the dimensions. Here are the facts: There is no width dimension even close to the 29" they state in the listing - I measured everywhere. I guess they thought we wouldn't notice. The inner space between the armrest hinges (which protrudes quite a bit inside the armrest) is 19". Your body needs to get past this spot to get into the seat - so this is really the most important measurement to be concerned with. Past those hinges, the space between the inside of the armrest is 22". So slip past the protruding hinge part and you have this much space to be comfortable. I'm 6'4" 260lbs with a 40 waist. This chair fits me ok with not much room to spare. If you are larger than me, this chair will be tight for you. As I said, this isn't very "oversized". The other design flaw is in order to have this chair sit in the fully upright position (just sitting - not reclining), you need to remove the padded foot rest. The chair will not get to the fully upright position because the pad bottoms out onto the ground. Guess they didn't think about that - but I want a chair for both sitting and reclining. With that said, the chair seems reasonable sturdy. The cushion is ok and the chair reclines easily. The locks work well. My wife (much smaller than me) thought the chair was comfortable. Bottom line - if you are much larger than I am - find a bigger chair - and the foot pad is useless. Enjoy.

Like it alot but buyers beware

So this is a very comfortable chair but the first one that got sent out was very clearly the wrong size, and was missing the foot rest. Because of other reviews we knew to send it back as this is a common problem. The coustomer service was great typical Amazon prime exchange new chair was here in under a week with all the right parts and the right size, just took the old one into UPS easy as pie. Will update after a bit to attest to durability but for now it seems sturdy and comfortable, my husband and I aren't big ppl he is 185lb I am 145lb but we find it nice and spacious l, he currently has it in our bedroom as his TV chair.

Chair is very comfortable!

Chair can be used, however, the metal rod on back of chair on bottom is warped and one end is higher than other! Do not want to return it! Chair is very comfortable! Perhaps it may have been damaged in shipping!

The Hubs Loves This Chair!

I bought it to replace an old fold-up slender bag-style camping chair that my Hubs used to sit in to people watch in our garage. Well, the Hubs is so in love with the comfort of this chair, he wants one for his man cave now. He says that it is more comfortable than his sofa! The only improvement, we would love to have another cup holder for the other side for more storage space.

Geat patio chair!

I absolutely love this chair! The latches are made of aluminum as advertised and firmly stabilize the position, I am very happy with this, I have purchased this type of chair in other stores before and had a hard time supporting my weight, this chair has solved my problem so far. It was easy to install, just take it out and open it up, the pad is removable, you can take off the pad if you want more breathability, I chose to be comfortable with the pad. This is really the most comfortable, stable and attractive outdoor chair I have ever used.Highly recommended!!

Sturdy good in every area, except not wide enough

This chair is pretty sturdy you can lean back in it. It’s pretty comfortable as long as you’re not too wide. I was under the impression when I bought it that because it was for XL up to 500 pounds that it would be wider than it is. I added pillows to the side to add for comfort. I am a female at 220 pounds. I really wish this would’ve been wider. Other than that problem, it’s not uncomfortable to sit in. I would recommend this to someone who is not super wide. If you’re a bulky bodybuilder, or a heavyset man, or woman like myself, then you may want to double check the dimensions, and maybe get a different chair
