Big improvement over the phillips head screws they replace
I bought these to replace some stainless steel Phillips head screws in some industrial equipment. The stainless screws would sometimes gall in the stainless PEM nuts. That required drilling out the screw and nut and re-installing a PEM nut. Plus, the Phillips screwdriver would always try to cam out of the screw head. These plated screws don't gall and the Torx head doesn't cam out. Both problems solved. And when they start rusting thru the zinc plating, I'll just replace them. Zinc plated screws are much cheaper than stainless.
