I wish Speedo still make this suit!!

Over the last five years, this is the best suit I’ve found for swimming laps. As a tall, plus size woman, the high-thigh suits don’t work for me and most suits are too short. This suit fits perfectly, stays in place, and flatters somewhat. This is the fourth time I’ve bought this suit and I wish Speedo would bring it back!! I’ve tried about a dozen other Speedo suits and none of them come close to working as well for me as this one does. I even bought a size up when I was pregnant and was able to wear it as a maternity suit (it was better than other maternity suits, too, and the ruching allowed it to stretch as my belly grew).

Love this suit!!

This suit is long lasting, I had my first one over two years before it started showing wear. I do lap swimming twice a week for one hour while wearing this suit. There's a little bit of a gap in the leg holes for me on my bottom, my thighs are not all that thick. I wear swim/board shorts under my suit for more coverage. I ordered a new suit this year because I lost weight. The old one is still in great condition! I wash my suit on gentle in cold water twice a week and hang to dry, no fabric softener. The suit does have a pretty flattering fit with nice sewn in cups. The suit is easy to put on, no buttons or hooks. I highly recommend this suit. It does run a little smaller than other brands of swimwear.

Holy Moly, This is the Best Swimsuit I've Ever Owned

I've always been overweight, so swimsuits have been a challenge all my life. Recently I've enjoyed some of the larger size vintage high-waist bikini styles, but the fabric is usually a little flimsy and the tops too skimpy for, say, the pool at the Y or a day at the beach with extended family. I decided to invest in this suit from Speedo for a family vacation - I wanted a basic, conservative one-piece that could hold in some of my bulges and work underneath shorts, skirts, and cover-ups between swims. I'm so excited to wear this! I typically wear a size 16/18 in stretchy jeans and a 38D/DD in bras. I'm 5'9" with a pretty average-length torso. This fits so perfectly. The shirring minimizes my waist and the fabric is strong enough to slim the bumps. I don't think it's going to feel super hot and clingy like some other conservative one-piece suits have in the past. I think it's nice enough that I'll still feel sexy in it even though it's not ultra revealing. Seriously, get this suit!

Size 16 / 40 F / 5'10 and fitting great!

I have been looking for a new swimsuit sends my Reebok one is starting to bite the dust. This was round seven of at least 30 swimsuits I tried. I was looking for something that was very specific that is not really made anymore. I wanted something that was modest in the leg, had a nice sliming effect on the stomach area, and was not cut for teenagers. I wear between a 12-16, 5'10, and flux 190-220 pounds. I am at my heaviest currently bulking and it fits well. I did try the 18 but long term it would be useless if I cut down to 190. I will be wearing this for kayaking, swimming, hiking, and other moderate sports. I won't be using it for swimming competitively or anything water aerobic wise but I'm confident it will hold up. I will report back.

3 Years Later, STILL an Awesome Suit - Even for Maternity!

I am 6ft tall, 259lbs, and wear the size 18. I've been swimming in this suit exclusively for 3 years and it's only just now starting to show some wear. Granted, I only swim during the summer months and just for leisure, but I still feel like that's a really good life for a one piece. And I wore it all last summer during months 3 through 7 of pregnancy and it fit great the whole time! It never rides up my backside and the width between the legs is generous and comfortable. When I started to get really big pregnant at the end of my 7th month, the back opening was pretty wide to compensate for the stretch over my belly, but it still fit and stayed in place once it was on while I ran around the water park with my nieces! LOVE this suit and will be getting another one in navy!

Comfortable and Amazing Quality

I love this swim suit! After having put on a lot of weight, I was looking for a comfortable swimsuit that would function well for a nice swim at beach, and this is it! The ribbing is very forgiving on the tummy and the low hip design keeps your ass from hanging out. I really liked the built in bra feature too! Big boobie girls, look no further! I was 189 (lost 5lbs already!) at the time of the purchase, 5’5, and my only advice would be to actually size down one size from your recommendation on the speedo website. The 14 fits, but I think I would have enjoyed a slightly more snug feel.

Doesn’t fade, gives great support, excellent for those who swim regularly

I love this suit. I swim about 5 times a week in a pool and also use sauna and a hot tub. I am a plus-sized woman and this suit gives me excellent support, coverage, and is perfect for water workouts. I make sure I rinse it after every swim and, after a month and a half, no sign of fading on the outside (there is some on the inside of the suit where the material is different from the outside). This cut and fit is flattering and so comfortable to get on and off. Highly recommend and if and when the chlorine finally does get to the suit, I’ll be ordering another one. I can see me sticking with this suit brand for years.

This Speedo swimsuit looks great! It fits well and is very comfortable. I’ve already swam in it about 5 times and it’s one of the best bathing suits I’ve had.

but so far very happy. Fits right

Just got it a month ago, so no idea how well it will hold up, but so far very happy. Fits right, and nice and snug for very active aquarobics and swimming. One thing - it's cut high up top, which is good, but it's a little too close to my chubby arms and when I'm working very hard, it chafes a bit. I've had this problem with other suits in the past, and it soon goes away, which I'm hoping will happen here. Just be warned that if your arms are big, there might be a bit of rub if you do aquasize and are doing a lot of repetitive arm movements.

Very Comfortable

Love the fit. True to size in my opinion. Being plus size it's important to me that it fits properly under the belly and fits snugly around the top of your legs so that you don't have to keep pulling the suit down and this one is perfect keeping everything tucked in. I do Aquafit 5 times a week and have spent Hundreds of Dollars buying suits from Penningtons that lose their shape and fade within a month. I've worn this suit appropriately 15 times so far with no problems. I will come back and let you know how well it holds up but so far I love it!!

Perfect suit.

This bathing suit is really nice . I go to the pool three times a week for aquafit and the chlorine has made a mess of my previous suits. This suit has not been affected by the chlorine at all. I followed the advice of the other reviewers and bought a size up. The suit fit me perfectly. I have ordered a second one as a backup. This suit is worth the money.
