There a little more expensive but there great quality, very durable and do exactly what it's supposed to.

Over the top.

The ESC was confusing at first but once you figure it out with the programming box AVIAN SPMXCA200 it's great, This ESC will give you all you need even reverse so if you come in on a fast landing this feature will help you stop, You need a transmitter that will work with it, I use the Spektrum NX8 and I can't say enough about it, Happy flying you will love all the features and never look back.

This is the way to go if you have a smart RX, all kinds of programming features.

Thank you Amazon and HH for the replacement ESC,, I suggest to anyone that gets one of these always have a motor connected when you power up the esc. my first one burned up powering it on with only a 3s smart lipo. This esc is used in the Carbon Z Cessna, I bought this for my FMS super cub so I can safely run 6s and also Reverse thrust. The smart technology is easy to follow and set up. All HH newer models have smart RX's so any AR637T or AR631 RX's are capable of firmware updates to allow this new forward programming feature to set up the ESC. I also bought a 100 amp Avian to use in my Skynetic Bison, with an Avian 5055 500 kv motor, that should wake it up!!!

Amazing versatility in a small package

These new Spektrum ESC are the real deal, they’re essentially repacked Hobbywing Pro’s but the smart package is what sealed the deal for me. Having full telemetry data of motor rpm, esc temp, and voltage gives the pilot incredible power. I do wish the 60 amp was offered with the IC5 as well but you can always adapt to with harness.

Telemetry is awesome to see in real time.

I decided to try a telemetry receiver and ESC. It’s super nice to glance at the radio screen and see battery condition while flying. There’s more to see but the state of the airplane battery is really important to prevent running the battery down to low. And now I can fly the full battery with knowing when to land and change it out.

I have a couple of avian speed controllers. They are great. This 60a esc i use on my skywing ars 300 48" and it has great power for 3d flying
