Hard at first, then fantastic

When these shoes first came for my walking 10 month old, I thought they would be impossible to put on: while intentionally bought as a high ankle, they were STIFF and hard to bend open. I put a bottle in each to widen it for a couple of days. Then when I put them on my son, I opened the tongue of the shoe way out and guided his heel through by gently pressing from his thigh while he sat on me (reduces the pressure on baby's joints). Now he has been wearing them for a couple of weeks and they are MUCH easier to put on amd have stood the test of some wear and tear thru crawling drags and walking in mud :)
